Abstract

A mushroom cultivating unit, comprising: a container having an opening through which mushrooms seeded within the container may grow; and a cover adapted for use with the container; wherein, when fitted to the container, the cover extends over the opening and maintains a humid environment within an interior of the container while permitting outside air exchange to thereby promote pinning of the mushrooms.
