Abstract

Abstract

In a bacterium of the genus Hydrogenophilus, the lactic acid productivity is remarkably improved by disrupting at least one of three lactate-metabolizing enzyme genes on the genome and introducing a lactate dehydrogenase gene and/or a malate/lactate dehydrogenase gene thereinto. The present inventor has identified three lactate-metabolizing enzyme genes of the Hydrogenophilus bacterium. By introducing a lactate permease gene into this transgenic bacterium, moreover, the lactic acid productivity is further improved. The transgenic bacterium of the present invention efficiently produces lactic acid with the use of carbon dioxide as a sole carbon source. That is, this transgenic bacterium can efficiently produce a starting material for biodegradable plastics while solving the problem of global warming due to an increase in carbon dioxide.

Further, coating resin that has not been completely cured can also be prevented from coming into contact with the support rollers by providing a guiding member with which leading portions of the reinforcing bars that are hanging down slide and are guided upwards, without connecting a plurality of reinforcing bars together, thereby similarly preventing the coating resin from becoming scratched.

Abstract

Shield excavation devices (11) are arranged in a body (2) with a rectangular cross-section so as to be individually movable in the front-rear direction. The rotating shaft section (18a) is rotatably mounted on a rotating plate (16) that is eccentrically rotatably provided at the center of a shield body (12) of the excavation device. The cutter sections (18b) are radially projected at equal intervals on a front end section of the rotating shaft section. The rotating plate body and the rotating shaft section are individually rotated in the opposite directions at a rotation ratio of 3:4, enabling a square-shaped tunnel to be excavated.

Abstract

It is intended to provide a purification method whereby the efficiency of the purification of polluted soil can be sufficiently elevated by controlling the temperature of the polluted soil even at a low temperature and promoting the activation of an aerobic microorganism capable of decomposing an organic pollutant.
