Abstract
The present invention concerns a method for the metathesis of an olefin or olefins and, more specifically, of a fatty acid or fatty acids comprising at least one unsaturation. The method according to the invention comprises bringing said fatty acid into contact with a metathesis catalyst, in which the fatty acid is treated by a sorbent before being brought into contact with the metathesis catalyst, the sorbent having a pH lower than or equal to 7.5 and comprising at least 50% by weight of SiO2 and at least 5% by weight of Al2O3, the weight percentages being given relative to the total weight of sorbent.

Abstract
The present invention concerns a method for the metathesis of an olefin or olefins and, more specifically, of one or more fatty acid esters comprising at least one unsaturation. The method according to the invention comprises bringing at least one fatty acid ester into contact with a metathesis catalyst, in which the fatty acid ester is treated by a sorbent before being brought into contact with the metathesis catalyst, the sorbent having a pH lower than 6.0 and comprising at least 65% by weight of SiO2, the weight percentage being given relative to the total weight of sorbent.

The present invention relates to compositions for solubilising solid organic ultraviolet filters (UV). In particular, it concerns a composition comprising a combination of a first solvent and a second solvent, the first solvent being chosen from esters, the second solvent being chosen from alcohols, and one or a plurality of solid organic UV filter(s). It also concerns methods for preparing the compositions according to the invention and the uses thereof, in particular for producing products offering protection against UV radiation.
