The purpose of the present invention is to cut a film in a stable manner. A holding mechanism 4 of a circular blade holder 1 according to the present invention has end surfaces 412, 422 that extend in a direction orthogonal to the radius of a circular blade 2 in a state in which the circular blade 2 is held. Thus, the circular blade 2 is exposed in a crescent shape to the outside of the holding mechanism 4 from the end surfaces 412, 422, and can be brought into contact with a film 7 to cut the film 7.

The purpose of the present invention is to cut a film in a stable manner. Another purpose of the present invention is to maintain blade sharpness by intermittently rotating a circular blade as necessary, thereby reducing the frequency of blade replacement. A circular blade holder 1 according to the present invention includes: a holding mechanism 4 that holds a circular blade 2 so that the circular blade 2 does not rotate; a release mechanism 5 that releases holding of the circular blade 2 by the holding mechanism 4 and sets the circular blade 2 to a rotatable state about an axis; and a click mechanism 6 for intermittently rotating the circular blade 2 set to said rotatable state.

A purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to deal with film movement in both normal and reverse directions by means of one holder. Another purpose of the present invention is to facilitate replacement work of a round blade attached to the holder. The holder according to the present invention comprises: a click mechanism 2 to which a round blade 4 is removably attached, and having a support 22 that can rotate together with the round blade 4; and a stopper mechanism 3 that prevents rotation of the support 22. The click mechanism 2 can rotate the support 22 by a predetermined angle in the reverse direction, and prevents rotation of the support 22 in one direction. The stopper mechanism 3 temporarily prevents rotation of the support 22 in both directions. The stopper mechanism 3 is configured to be capable of preventing rotation of the support 22 in both directions when the film is cut and when the round blade 4 is replaced, and allowing rotation of the support 22 in the reverse direction when the round blade 4 is rotated by a predetermined angle.

One purpose of the present invention is to attach a circular blade to a device side with high precision. Another purpose of the present invention is to increase the cutting edge precision when edging a circular blade and facilitate processing. A circular blade 1 for cutting films according to the present invention comprises: a disc-like circular blade body 2; and a resin part 3 attached to the circular blade body 2. Formed on the outer circumference of the circular blade body 2 is an edge 21 for cutting films. Formed at the center of the circular blade body 2 is a through-hole 22 that penetrates the circular blade body 2 in the thickness direction. The resin part 3 is attached to the surface of the circular blade body 2 so as to cover the lateral edge of the through-hole 22. The resin part 3 has formed therein an attachment hole 4 for attachment of the circular blade 1 to a cutting device for cutting films.

A safety cutter knife of the present disclosure includes a blade part that includes a blade, a guard attached to one end of the blade, and a head on which the blade is fixed and that has a cutting edge of the blade being exposed between the guard and the head, and a grip part that detachably holds the head in the state where the cutting edge of the blade and the guard in the blade part protrude.
A safety cutter knife according to the present disclosure comprises: a blade part which has a blade, a guard provided on one end of the blade, and a head to which the blade is fixed, and has a cutting edge of the blade exposed between the guard and the head; and a grip part which detachably holds the head while in the blade part, the cutting edge of the blade and the guard protrude.
A safety utility knife includes a resin-made grip part, a blade projecting from the grip part, and a resin-made head part arranged at a tip of the projecting blade. The blade is formed with a through-hole so that a resin-made coupling part lying within the through-hole couples together the grip part and the head part that are made of resin. Since the safety utility knife of the present invention allows the three resin-made parts to be joined together, it can be manufactured easily and at low cost using a 1-gate type mold. Also, there is no unnecessary increase in the blade thickness, preventing an increased cutting resistance and a rough cut end from occurring.
This spare blade case for containing a spare blade has a clip. The clip securely hangs the spare blade case on an object (e.g. a wall surface or a pocket of a waist bag, or a trouser belt) by holding the object between the clip and the surface of the spare blade case. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a spare blade case which can be carried in a bag or the like without being lost or becoming difficult to search for.
Provided is a safety utility knife in which: a grip part and a head part are integrally configured from resin, etc.; it is possible to simplify the steps for manufacturing the safety utility knife; and cutting resistance does not increase. A safety utility knife provided with a plastic grip part 31, blades 50a, 50b that project from the grip part, and plastic head parts 33a, 33b disposed at the distal ends of the projected blades. Through-holes are formed in the blades, and plastic connection parts 35 positioned in the through-holes connect the plastic grip part 31 and head parts 33a, 33b. In this safety utility knife, all three of the plastic parts are linked, and therefore it is possible to use a one-gate-type mold and to manufacture the plastic parts easily and inexpensively. In addition, because there is no unnecessary increase in the thickness of the blades, the cutting resistance does not increase and the cut edge is not roughened.

An objective of the present invention is to provide a blade, which is safe and also feels safe and which is suitable for a cutter knife serving as a tool designed for those who are aspiring to use an ordinary cutter knife designed for adults as a next step. In this blade 1, almost the entire region of a cutting edge 12 serving to actually cut an object is covered with a cover member 20, offering superior safety in handling. Moreover, even if the blade main body 10 is made of metal, since the cover member 20 is configured from resin, only a small metal portion is visible, so a sense of fear resulting from the appearance of the blade can be reduced.
Disclosed is a cutter knife, which even if made with only the metal parts, smoothness of sliding operation of the blade is not degraded in time, even without lubricating oil nor a friction resistant coating. A slider of the cutter knife carries a rolling member, which makes rolling contact with the outer surface of the cutter knife. Further, the slider has a protrusion which extends into the cutter knife body and is engaged into a hole formed on the blade. Since an external force applied onto the slider is received by the rolling member, the slider can be operated smothly. Besides, the height of the protrusion is determined, such that the protrusion does not touch the inner surface of the cutter knife. Thus, the protrusion tip never interferes with the inner surface of the cutter knife, thereby the sliding operation of the slider is not prevented.

In the safety cutter knife provided, a blade slide holding a blade is rotated in the direction nearly perpendicular to the longitudinal center line of the housing of the cutter knife by virtue of a reaction force from a work material when the cutting edge of the blade extended from the housing is pressed into the work material while the blade slide and the actuator slide are located at the extended position. With this rotation of the blade slide, the engagement between the blade slide and the actuator slide is released, such that the blade slide with the blade can return automatically from the extended position to the retracted position by virtue of the energizing force of a spring when the blade is released from the work material.

A rotary cutting mat of the present invention has a base plate and a rotary mat, which can be rotated relative to each other. The rotary mat is provided with a shaft member projected from a reverse side thereof. The base plate is provided with a receiving portion, which rotatably receives the shaft member of the rotary mat. Since the rotary mat is simply placed on the base plate with the shaft member being inserted in the receiving portion, there is no need of a rivet for connecting the rotary mat and the base plate. Thus, the constitution on the mat is simplified and the surface of the mat can be maintained flat without any buried rivet head in the mat.
