The invention relates to a device for blocking a vehicle in front of a loading dock in a docking path, said device comprising a frame (10), a blocking module (12) provided with manoeuvring means (14) along the frame, characterized in that said blocking module (12) comprises a chassis (12-0) in translation, supporting a blocking head (16) and a detection means (18).
The subject of the invention is a device for immobilising a vehicle such as a trailer in front of a loading platform, in a direction F, comprising a fixed structure (12) comprising a rail fixed to the ground, and a mobile structure (14) comprising a carriage (24) mobile in translation along said rail, means (16) of manoeuvring said carriage relative to said rail, mechanical means (48) of detecting the movements of said carriage, comprising a pivoting arm (54) with a sensor (56) and means (50) for immobilising at least one rear wheel R of said vehicle. The invention also covers the method for operating the device.
The manual securing device comprises a frame (1) supporting a guide rail (2), upon which is slidably mounted a support head (3) receiving a chock (4) that may occupy a retracted position and a locked position located away from the retracted position. This device is characterised in that the rail (2) has a series of holes (20), said head has a guide sheath (30) slidably engaged on the guide rail (2), said sheath (30) has at least one radial through-hole (31) arranged to line up axially with one of the holes (20) of the guide rail (2) by sliding the head (3), and the head (3) has at least one locking pin (32) arranged to be engaged in the alignment of the hole (20, 31) formed, so that it can be translationally immobilised along the guide rail (2).
