Abstract

The invention relates to a textile device for body protection (1), that comprises at least one knitted elastic structure (2) including several meshes (3) formed by at least one yarn (4), the device (1) further including a pad (5) made of a material that is elastic at least according to its thickness, the pad (5) being assembled with said knitted structure (2). The pad (5) extends along a face of the knitted structure (2), and some meshes (6) of the knitted structure (2) extend inside the pad (5) and are trapped by the elastic material of the pad (5), thus forming a composite assembly (7), characterised in that a portion of the pad (8) is located outside the knitted structure (2).
