Abstract

A deterioration-state prediction method is for calculating a cause-based deterioration state 25 for each cause of deterioration and predicting a deterioration state 26 of a secondary battery 1 based on a plurality of the cause-based deterioration states 25. Each of the cause-based deterioration states 25 is calculated based on: a previous cause-based deterioration state 21, which is the cause-based deterioration state 25 at a time point a first time period ago; and a unit cause-based deterioration state indicating deterioration during the first time period, while considering; time dependence varying depending on the cause of deterioration and following a power law with respect to an elapsed time of the cause-based deterioration state 25; and a deterioration rate varying depending on the cause of deterioration and determined based on a use condition 22 at the time of prediction.

Provided is a reforming apparatus whereby it becomes possible to increase the temperatures of a desulfurizer and a CO converter rapidly during a start-up operation while effectively utilizing an already-existing configuration. Before the starting of an operation from a non-operation state, an operation control unit M performs a start-up operation for circulating a temperature rising gas through a compressor D, a heat exchanger W for raw material gas heating use, a desulfurizer P, a reforming reaction tube A, the heat exchanger W for raw material gas heating use, a CO converter Q and a water vapor separation unit 19 in such a manner that the temperature rising gas is returned to an upstream-side point in the compressor D through a return passage L10 when the temperature rising gas is discharged from the water vapor separation unit 19. Subsequently, the operation control unit M performs a steady operation, and also performs a water vapor mixing treatment for mixing the temperature rising gas that has passed through the desulfurizer P with water vapor produced by a heat exchanger J for water vapor production use and separating he water vapor from the temperature rising gas in the water vapor separation unit 19 when the temperature of the CO converter Q rises to a preset intermediate temperature, i.e., a temperature at which the dew condensation of water vapor can be avoided, or higher in the start-up operation.

Abstract

It is aimed to accurately predict a deterioration state of a secondary battery. A deterioration-state prediction method is for calculating a cause-based deterioration state 25 for each cause of deterioration and predicting a deterioration state 26 of a secondary battery 1 based on a plurality of the cause-based deterioration states 25. Each of the cause-based deterioration states 25 is calculated based on: a previous cause-based deterioration state 21, which is the cause-based deterioration state 25 at a time point a first time period ago; and a unit cause-based deterioration state indicating deterioration during the first time period, while considering: time dependence varying depending on the cause of deterioration and following a power law with respect to an elapsed time of the cause-based deterioration state 25; and a deterioration rate varying depending on the cause of deterioration and determined based on a use condition 22 at the time of prediction.

Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to predict, with good accuracy, a degradation state of a secondary battery. In a degradation state prediction method, a per-cause degradation state 25 is calculated for each cause of degradation, and a degradation state 26 of a secondary battery 1 is predicted on the basis of a plurality of per-cause degradation states 25. The per-cause degradation states 25 are each calculated on the basis of a preceding per-cause degradation state 21, which is a per-cause degradation state 25 that precedes by a discretionary first amount of time, and a unit per-cause degradation state of the degradation occurring in the duration of the first amount of time, such calculation taking into consideration time-dependency in accordance with a power-law which varies by degradation cause and is to be applied to the elapsed time of a per-cause degradation state 25, and a degradation speed that varies by degradation cause and is determined by usage conditions 22 at the time of prediction.

Abstract

The present invention provides a tank operation plan derivation system and a tank operation plan derivation method in which burden of computing processes is reduced. A tank operation plan derivation system S is provided with a storage unit 1 and a computing processing unit 2. The computing processing unit 2 executes, for each of a plurality of tanks, a first process that derivates an operation plan by using the calorific value or density of a stored liquefied fuel as a constant or a linearly changing variable and thus solving a mixed integer linear programming problem and a second process that calculates a change in the calorific value or density of a liquefied fuel stored in each of the plurality of tanks, in the operation plan derived in the first process. When re-executing the first process after the second process, the computing processing unit 2 uses, as a constant or a linearly changing variable, the change in the calorific value or density of a liquefied fuel stored in each of the plurality of tanks calculated in the second process and thus executes the first process.

Abstract

In a metal support mostly used for a metal-supported solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), a SOFC system that improves the power generation efficiency by allowing a gas to smoothly flow into or flow out from the through-holes is achieved. A metal support is formed in a plate shape as a whole and has a plurality of through-holes penetrating from a front surface on which an electrode layer is provided to a back surface, and the metal support has inclined through-holes, as the through-holes each of which has a central axis inclined with respect to a thickness direction.

Abstract

Provided is a first step of causing hydrogen and carbon oxide to react with each other in a presence of a first catalyst to obtain a first fuel gas 2 that contains 2% to 10% hydrogen by volume after dehydration; and a second step of consuming the hydrogen in the first fuel gas 2 to obtain a second fuel gas 4 with a reduced hydrogen concentration. The first catalyst includes a methanation catalyst. The second step includes an exothermic reaction that generates heat of 60 kJ or more per mole of hydrogen, and the exothermic reaction is a reaction through which the hydrogen in the first fuel gas 2 and a predetermined reactant 3 are caused to react with each other in a presence of a second catalyst to generate water or a paraffin hydrocarbon with two to four carbon atoms.
