Abstract
A dispersing and grinding device for dispersing or grinding particles in a particle-containing liquid with a shear force generated when the particle-containing liquid passes through a gap, the dispersing and grinding device including: a casing; a rotor, a stator, and an impeller; and drive means. The gap is defined between the stator and the rotor. When the rotor and the impeller are rotated by the drive means, the particle-containing liquid is allowed to flow into the casing through an inflow portion of the casing by a rotating force of the impeller, and passes through the gap to cause the particles in the particle-containing liquid to be dispersed or ground with a shear force generated when the particle-containing liquid passes through the gap.

Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of dispersing or grinding particles more finely than conventional media-less dispersing/grinding devices. This dispersing/grinding device 10 is for dispersing or grinding particles in a particle-containing liquid, by utilizing the shearing force when the liquid passes through a gap S. The device comprises: a casing 11; a rotor 13; a stator 16; an impeller 14; and a drive means 15. The gap S is provided between the stator 16 and the rotor 13. When the drive means 15 rotates the rotor 13 and the impeller 14, the particle-containing liquid, which has entered from an inflow section 11a of the casing 11 due to the rotational force of the impeller 14, passes through the gap S. The particles in the particle-containing liquid are dispersed or ground as a result of the shearing force when the liquid passes through the space S.

[Solution] Provided is a medium stirring type pulverizer, wherein a stirring means is provided with: a disk-shaped hub member (26) which is affixed on an end part of a rotary drive shaft within a pulverization vessel that extends from one end side of the vessel into the vessel; a ring-shaped end plate (28) disposed in the axial direction of the rotary drive shaft facing the hub member with a space therebetween; and stirring members (30) affixed in the circumferential direction between the hub member and the end plate with a space therebetween, and protruding to the outside radial direction from the outer periphery of the hub member and the end plate, and pulverizing medium scraping members (31) affixed in the circumferential direction between the hub member and the end plate with a space therebetween, and extending inward in the radial direction from the outer periphery of the hub member and the end plate. Opening parts on the circumference of the stirring means other than the thickness of the stirring members and the pulverizing medium scraping members form pulverizing medium circulation openings (22a) that circulate the pulverizing medium from inside the stirring means to the outside. The rate of opening area for the pulverizing medium circulation openings to the circumferential surface area between facing surfaces of the hub member and end plate of the stirring means is set at 50 - 90%.

Abstract
A media-agitation pulverizer is capable of creating a uniformized, stable helicoidal flow in a mixture of pulverizing media and a raw material slurry, thereby performing pulverization/dispersion uniformly with satisfactory energy efficiency. The media-agitation pulverizer includes a guide ring installed to radially divide a lower region of a pulverization chamber into an inner section and an annular outer section, whereby a flow of a mixture of a raw material slurry and pulverizing media is formed as a helicoidal flow including a secondary flow flowing through a circulation flow path with respect to the guide ring; and rotational-flow suppressing device is provided within the pulverization chamber and adapted to strengthen the secondary flow of the helicoidal flow, thereby stabilizing the helicoidal flow.

Abstract
The purpose of the present invention is to force raw material into a material input unit of a horizontal dry mill to prevent adhesion. In the horizontal dry mill (10) of the present invention, the diameter of a material supply unit (13) for a grinding tank (14) is smaller than the diameter of a grinding chamber (12). The diameter of a mechanical thrust generating means for the material supply unit (13) also has a small diameter corresponding to the diameter of the material supply unit. In addition, the clearance (e1) between the outer dimensions of the screw (26) serving as the mechanical thrust generating means and the inner diameter of the material supply unit (13) for the grinding tank (14) is within 1/3 of the diameter of the grinding media M by 0.5 mm.

Abstract
The present invention makes it possible to pulverize and disperse in an energy-efficient and even manner. This medium-stirring pulverizer is provided with a guide ring (50) that divides a lower portion of a pulverizing chamber (14) in the radial direction and comprises a pulverizing chamber lower portion inner section and an annular pulverizing chamber lower portion outer section. The guide ring (50) causes a flow of a mixture of raw material slurry and pulverization medium to be a helical flow which is centered on the guide ring (50) and in which the pulverizing chamber lower portion outer section serves as a rising passage and the pulverizing chamber lower portion inner section serves as a descent passage. A rotational flow suppressing means (92) for reinforcing the secondary flows of the helical flow, in order to stabilize the helical flow, is provided within the pulverizing chamber.
