Two non-adjacent flaps (3', 5') of the first blank are glued to two respective facing panels (13', 15') of the second blank, thereby preventing the relative movement thereof during folding or during the formation of the box when the blanks are wound around a volume having pre-determined dimensions. At least two-thirds of the third fold lines (19') of the second blank are substantially aligned in relation to the first fold lines of the first blank, the lower part (23) of one or more of said third lines including a cut or collapsed portion opposite the corresponding first fold line.

This is a packaging box (1) for generally elongated products (2), each product having an intermediate part (3) whose greatest width is greater than the widths of each of its ends (4, 5), comprising a base (6, 111, 112) and a cover part (7, 109, 110, 112) made of cardboard or corrugated board material. The cover part (7) comprises two side walls (8, 9, 110, 112) joined by an upper wall (110, 109), the width of the bottom and that of the upper wall being less than or equal to said maximum width, and the side walls (8, 9) being perforated by regularly distributed opposing openings (11) to allow insertion of the respective intermediate parts (3) of said products.

The present invention relates to a one-piece blank (14) of corrugated cardboard for the production of a display case (1), to the case, and to the method and machine for producing said case. The blank comprises a band (2) of flaps (15, 16, 17, 18) which are interconnected in pairs by parallel fold lines (24, 25, 26, 27). The band (2) comprises a precut transverse line (20) by means of which the blank can be divided into two half-blanks (21, 22), said transverse line determining, on either side and for each parallel fold line (24, 25, 26, 27), two separate fold line portions (24', 24''; 25', 25''; 26', 26''; 27', 27'') which are offset with respect to one another so as to make it possible at least in part to compensate for the cardboard thicknesses when wrapping the second half-blank over the first half-blank around a mandrel.
