By means of measuring the water level inside a washing machine during the inputting of water, and when the actual water level in the washing machine is greater than a preset water level L0, the inputting of water to the interior of the washing machine is stopped, and water in the washing machine is sprayed onto clothes by using a circulating spray system, such that the clothes can be completely soaked before being washed or rinsed, and therefore additives dissolved in the water can penetrate deeply into the clothes, thereby improving the washing effect of the clothes while saving on water.
