Abrégé
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a clasp for use with animals with which the work of clasping and unclasping is easy and which is capable of limiting the probability that the operation part will be unclasped accidentally due to twisting or to other causes. The purpose is achieved by means of a clasp (200) provided with: a main body (4) having a forked section (3) formed in the leading end (10) side extending from a base section (2) where a base ring (1) is connected; and an open-close mechanism (7) for opening and closing the open section (5) of the forked section (3) and for clasping and unclasping, in cooperation with the forked section, an object (6). The open-close mechanism (7) comprises: an open-close member (8) that advances and retracts in the open section (5) between one side (3a) and the other side (3b) to open and close the open section; a spring (9) impelling the open-close member (8) so as to close; and an operation part (21) that protrudes from the surface (4a) where the prongs of the forked section (3) of the main body lie are aligned. The operation part (21) moves from the other side (3b) to the one side (3a) in the direction that the prongs of the forked section (3) are aligned in response to the closing operation in which the open-close member (8) advances from the one side (3a) to the other side (3b) of the forked section (3), and when the operation part (21) is operated by being moved from the one side (3a) to the other side (3b), the open-close member (8) is retracted against the opposing force of the spring (9) and is opened.

Abrégé
Provided is a connector for animals that can regulate the range of motion of a connected object and prevent a push-back force by the connected object from acting on a notch in an operating part. This connector (200) is provided with: a main body (7), in which a hook part (4) and a shaft part (50) rise up from a base part (3) and their respective tip part (4a) and tip part face each other so as to form an opening part (6) of the hook part (4); a latching pin (110) that is accommodated so as to move back and forth in the shaft part (50) toward the tip part of the hook part (4) and can open and close the opening part (6) and is such that an operating part (90) thereof is exposed to the outside at notch parts (91) of the operating part (90) through a slide groove (8a) in the shaft part (50); and a spring (12) biased so as to make the latching pin (110) contact the tip part of the hook part (4). The main body (7) has a regulating wall part (10) that extends on a connecting area (14) side of the hook part (4) for a connected object (13) in the space in which the shaft part (50) and the hook part (4) rise up from the base part (3), regulates the connecting area (14) of the hook part for the connected object from the tip part and the play toward the base part side, and forms a regulating window (15) connected to the opening part (6) for putting in and taking out the connected object.

Abrégé
Disclosed is an animal harness which can restrict the range of movement of a coupled object such as a D-ring to prevent a push-back force exerted by the coupled object from acting upon a manipulation portion provided along the outer surface thereof. To achieve this purpose, the harness includes a main body (5) which has a proximal end portion (2) to which a proximal end ring (1) is rotatably coupled, and a crotch portion (4) which extends from the proximal end portion (2) to be formed near a distal end portion (3) and has an opening (4a); a C-type coupling ring (6); and a spring (8) for energizing and thereby retaining the coupling ring (6) at a coupling position. The coupling ring (6) is accommodated within the main body (5) so as to be able to make to-and-fro movements and has a coupling end portion (6a) which can advance into the opening (4a) of the crotch portion (4) from one side (4b) thereof so as to be coupled to the coupled object (7) and close the opening (4a). The coupling end portion (6a) can also retreat from the crotch portion (4) to open the opening (4a), thereby releasing the coupling to the coupled object (7). The coupling ring (6) has the manipulation portion (6b) which is provided on the side portion of the main body (5) and manipulated for the coupling ring (6) to retreat to the coupling release position against the spring (8).
