The water valve assembly includes a housing with two input ports and two output port configured to be attachable in series with a hot water pipe and a cold water pipe. A valve includes two through holes and is movable in the housing between a closed position and an open position. In the open position the two through holes are in alignment with the two input and output ports. In the closed position the two through holes are not in alignment with the two input and output ports. A spring is biased against the valve keeping the valve in the closed position. The single valve reduces costs, increases reliability and simplifies ease of installation.
