An apparatus to make objects (100; 300), in particular containers, by forming a first web (111) and a second web (112) of thermoformable material, arranged one another facing and joined together along welding zones (12,- 312) so as to define preforms (10; 310) of said objects (100; 300), comprises forming means (6, 7; 240, 250) provided with abutting walls (62, 72; 247, 248, 257, 258) for pressing together the webs (111, 112) along the welding zones (13, 312) and with cavity means (61, 71; 243, 244) for forming the objects (100; 300) by injection of a forming fluid inside the preforms (10; 310); the abutting walls (62, 72; 247, 248, 257, 258) being curved so as to press the webs (111, 112) along a curved surface such as to make objects (100; 300) having wall means (101, 102,- 301, 302) that are joined together along a peripheral joint zone (103; 303) that extends along said curved surface. A method for making the objects and said objects are also described.
