The present invention relates to a sliding apparatus. The present invention provides a sliding apparatus having a fixed rail which is fixedly installed in a body thereof and a transfer rail which is slidably installed in the fixed rail and enables an opening operation or a closing operation of a container, the sliding apparatus comprising: a guide unit which is fixedly installed in the fixed rail and has a resiliently-deformable catching protrusion formed at one side thereof; a sliding opening/closing unit installed at one side of the guide unit to interlock with the guide unit and having a resilient catching part, which is formed at one side thereof and is engaged with a fixing part of the transfer rail according to the moving of the transfer rail, and a catching body, which is formed adjacent to the resilient catching part and is caught by or released from the catching protrusion when the transfer rail moves, the sliding opening/closing unit locking or opening the container when the catching body and the catching protrusion are caught by or released from each other; a resilient member which is provided between the guide unit and the sliding opening/closing unit, receives a tensile force while extending when the transfer rail moves in a closing direction, and contracts by a restoring force when the transfer rail moves in an opening direction. Therefore, the present invention can move the sliding opening/closing unit by the resilient catching part in the opening direction or the closing direction, can catch or release the catching body by means of the catching protrusion, and can block the catching protrusion from moving in a reverse direction by a reverse acting prevention boss, thereby preventing malfunctions as well as simplifying the configuration of the product.
