SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING AN ACTIVE-INGREDIENT FLUID, IN PARTICULAR A PLANT- AND/OR INSECT-EFFECTIVE ACTIVE INGREDIENT
The invention is based on the problem of specifying a system for dispensing an active-ingredient fluid containing an active ingredient, in particular a plant- and/or insect-effective active ingredient, which is characterised by high controllability of active ingredient release, a simple structure and simple recyclability and reusability of its components. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a system for dispensing an active-ingredient fluid, in particular a plant- and/or insect-effective active ingredient, which comprises the following components: a) a first module, comprising an electrochemical gas development cell and a control module which controls the gassing rate of the gas generated by the gas development cell; b) a second module, which can be connected to the first module, comprising a container for the active-ingredient fluid containing the active ingredient with an active-ingredient outlet, wherein a conveying pressure built up by the gas generated by means of the gas development cell causes the active ingredient to be released at the active-ingredient outlet; and c) a third module, which can be connected to the second module, comprising an application element which provides the active ingredient provided at the active-ingredient outlet for release onto the plant and/or the insect/organism and/or into the environment.
The aim of the invention is to dispense a conveyable medium, which can be gaseous, liquid, viscous, pasty, or pulverulent, into an organism (human, animal, plant) or onto a technical system for example in a targeted, controlled, regulated, and monitored manner by means of a displacement pumping principle using a gas produced by a gas generating cell. DEVICE FOR ENRICHING A LIQUID WITH MOLECULAR HYDROGEN GENERATED BY A GAS DEVELOPMENT CELL
The present invention addresses the problem of enriching a liquid, more particularly drinking water, with hydrogen. The system should be inexpensive to produce and suitable for efficient mass production, and furthermore expendable parts and wear parts should be easy to replace. The system should also be able to be used in both a reuasable container and a disposable container. In addition, it should be possible to breathe in the hydrogen nasally by means of a corresponding apparatus. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a device for enriching a liquid with molecular hydrogen (8) generated by a gas development unit (7), comprising: a) a receptacle (6) for the liquid (5); and b) a gas development unit (7) for introducing the hydrogen (8) generated by it into the liquid (5). The liquid, more particularly water, is enriched with molecular hydrogen produced by the gas development cell based on a precisely defined quantity per time through the corresponding adjustability of the gas development rate of the gas development cell. The molecular hydrogen can be fed into the liquid under positive pressure.
An electrochemical, in particular mercury-free hydrogen production cell, is free of Raney nickel and corresponds to electrochemical gas production cells using Raney nickel regarding blank gassing rate and other electrochemical characteristics. The cell includes a metal anode, electrolyte and gas diffusion electrode. The gas diffusion electrode has, as a metal-containing main component, steel alloy and/or catalytic inorganic metal compound and/or platinum or palladium powder, all free of Raney nickel. Avoiding Raney nickel provides increased industrial safety. The substitute materials have significantly fewer risks regarding transportation, fire hazard and toxicology. An apparatus for heating a workpiece, particularly a roller bearing, having low power consumption, rapid heating and low weight, includes a truncated conical contact surface for horizontal workpiece bearing, a single-layer solenoid coil underneath the contact surface, following the contact surface shape relative to its covered surface and gradient, resulting in magnetic lines of force concentrated in an internal workpiece area and a driver resonant circuit producing an alternating magnetic field in the solenoid coil. The workpiece is inductively heated quickly without requiring pushing onto a magnet yoke, because of its horizontal bearing. The planar configuration of the solenoid coil, following the contact surface shape, causes operation of the driver resonant circuit at high frequency, resulting in low power consumption. The profile of lines of force causes the magnetic field to directly enter areas to be heated on an upper workpiece surface, ensuring homogeneous workpiece heating.
The present invention is based on the object of specifying an apparatus for heating a workpiece, in particular a roller bearing, which apparatus is distinguished by low power consumption, a rapid heating phase and a low weight. According to the invention, the object is achieved by an apparatus (2) for heating a workpiece (4, 6) in particular a roller bearing, comprising: a) a resting surface (8), which is shaped like a truncated cone, for horizontal bearing of the workpiece (4); b) a single-layer solenoid coil (10), which is arranged underneath the resting surface (8) and essentially follows the shape of the resting surface (8) with respect to its covered surface and gradient, wherein this results in the magnetic lines of force being concentrated in the internal area of the workpiece; and c) a driver resonant circuit (14) for producing an alternating magnetic field in the solenoid coil (10). This allows the workpiece to be heated inductively very quickly, and also means that it need not be pushed onto a magnet yoke, because of its horizontal bearing on the resting surface. Because of the planar configuration of the solenoid coil, which follows the truncated-conical shape of the resting surface, the driver resonant circuit can be operated at high frequency, which results in a low power consumption. Because of the profile of the lines of force of the magnetic alternating field that this results in, the magnetic field therefore also directly enters the areas to be heated on the upper face of the workpiece, thus ensuring that the workpiece is heated particularly homogeneously.
