The multi-layer enclosure at least partially surrounds the GNSS module and includes an outer shell layer and an inner shell layer. The outer shell layer and the inner shell layer are partially separated by an air gap.
An underground utility asset detection system including a locator configured to detect underground signals, a GNSS receiver, and a mobile device in communication with the locator and the GNSS receiver is provided.
