The present invention relates to a sphygmomanometer capable of measuring blood pressure and transmitting the blood pressure to a mobile terminal through wired or wireless communication. In the present invention, blood pressure is measured by the sphygmomanometer, and the measured value is transferred to a mobile terminal through wired communication using a USB communication scheme or wireless communication using a Zigbee communication scheme. At this time, the sphygmomanometer of the present invention has a plug-and-play function and includes a driver by which upon connection thereof to a mobile terminal, the sphygmomanometer can interact with the mobile terminal without an additional operation. In addition, if the sphygmomanometer is not connected to a mobile terminal via a USB cable, the sphygmomanometer of the present invention automatically transfers the measured value to the mobile terminal through a Zigbee wireless communication scheme. According to the present invention, the value of blood pressure measured by the sphygmomanometer can be transmitted to the mobile terminal, and the transmitted measured value can also be transmitted to a desired location using the mobile terminal.
