A treatment agent for elastic fibers which comprises: a hydrocarbon resin (A) and a hydrocarbon oil (B), the hydrocarbon resin (A) having a structure formed by partially or completely hydrogenating a polymer comprising, as main structural units, structural units of at least one monomer selected from among aromatic olefins and aliphatic diolefins. It is preferable that the hydrocarbon resin (A) have a structure formed by partially or completely hydrogenating a polymer comprising structural units of one or more aromatic olefins as monomers, the aromatic olefins being indene and/or methylstyrene. Due to this, the treatment agent for elastic fibers not only gives elastic fibers which are excellent in terms of unwindability and bondability by hot-melt adhesives and which, even when processed in a high draft ratio, can give stretchable sheets exhibiting satisfactory bondability, but also is suitable for obtaining sanitary articles with a soft touch.
