A power distribution hub is disclosed. The power distribution hub includes a housing having a concave back surface configured for attachment to a helmet and a mating interface configured for attachment of a shroud. An onboard power source is contained within the housing. A conductive interface is disposed on the mating interface and electrically connected to the onboard power source. The conductive interface is configured to supply power to a connected peripheral electronic device.
Disclosed are implementations of a pivot mount for an optical sighting device. A sight support member of the pivot mount is movable between a use position, in which an attached optical sighting device can be used to sight a firearm, and a storage position, in which the attached optical sighting device is vertically offset from the use position.
A tailcap assembly for a portable electronic device, such as a flashlight, and a complementary plug. The tailcap assembly includes a USB Type-C receptacle that allows other devices, such as a remote switch, to be connected. The polymer frame is overmolded onto the insert such that the polymer frame and the insert cooperate to form an interface for the removable attachment of an accessory mount. The interface includes an upper recess and a lower recess. The upper recess is configured to act as a bearing surface for an engaging latch member of the accessory mount, and the lower recess is configured to act as a bearing surface for another engaging latch member of the accessory mount.
Disclosed are embodiments of a pivot mount for an optical aiming device. The pivot mount can be attached to an accessory rail, such as a MIL-STD-1913 rail, extending along the top of a receiver or handguard of a firearm. The pivot mount allows an attached optical aiming device to be pivoted between a use position and a storage position. In some implementations, a firearm accessory electrical distribution system comprises a laser aiming module configured to emit a laser. The laser aiming module comprises a housing that includes a bottom side configured to be secured to a mounting interface for firearm accessories, a first side that includes a mounting interface thereon, and a first switch configured to operate at least the laser of the laser aiming module. Disclosed are mounts for optical sighting devices. One example optical sight mount includes an integrated backup sighting system. The optical sight mount is configured to position an optical sighting device on a firearm so that it can be used to aim the firearm. Further, the backup sighting system can be used to aim the firearm should the optical sighting device fail or otherwise be rendered inoperable.
An example optical sight mounting system comprises an optical sight having a base that can be secured to an adapter interface of a pistol slide. The base of the optical sight is configured to that it can be rotated into position within the adapter interface of the pistol slide. In this way, the optical sight can be mounted on a pistol and used to aim. Another example optical sight mounting system comprises an optical sight having a base that can be secured to an adapter interface of an optical sight mount. The base of the optical sight is configured so that it can be rotated into position within the adapter interface of the optical sight mount. The optical sight mount is configured to releasable engage a mounting interface of a firearm (e.g., a MIL-STD-1913 rail). In this way, the optical sight can be positioned on a firearm (e.g., a rifle) and used to aim.
Implementations of a shoulder stock assembly for a pistol are provided. The shoulder stock assembly is configured for use in attaching a shoulder stock to a handgun, thereby providing additional stability to a user aiming and firing the handgun. In some implementations, the shoulder stock assembly is also configured to position an optical sight (e.g., a reflex type sight) so that is can be used to aim the handgun. In some implementations, the shoulder stock assembly comprises a chassis configured to be secured to a frame of a handgun and used to position an optical sight over a slide of the handgun, a shoulder stock secured to the chassis by a hinge assembly, a removable backstrap assembly configured to further secure the chassis to the handgun frame, and a charging handle that can be used to manually operate the slide of the handgun or another suitable combination thereof.
Implementations of an adapter plate system for mounting optical sights on a pistol are provided. In general, the adapter plate system comprises an adapter plate configured so that an optical sight can be mounted thereon and a pistol slide having an adapter interface configured to receive the adapter plate. Implementations of a ballistic helmet are provided. The ballistic helmet comprises two armor plates, each armor plate can be positioned to cover an ear of a wearer and thereby provide ballistic protection. In some implementations, the ballistic helmet may further comprise two earcup adapters, each earcup adapter is configured to be mounted on an interior side of an armor plate and to allow an attached earcup to rotate thereon. In this way, each earcup may be comfortably positioned over an ear of the wearer and thereby attenuate sound.
Implementations of a firearm accessory electrical distribution system are provided. In some implementations, the modular scope mount assembly may be used to secure a telescopic sight to a firearm (e.g., a rifle and/or a carbine). In some implementations, the modular scope mount assembly may be used to co-mount a telescopic sight and a reflex sight to a firearm. In some implementations, the modular scope mount assembly may be configured to place a reflex sight on the right side and/or left side of a co-mounted telescopic sight. In some implementations, the modular scope mount assembly may be configured to allow a user to change (increase or decrease) the eye relief between the user and the co-mounted reflex sight(s).
Implementations of a mount assembly for interchanging optical sights on a pistol are provided.
