A method of determining flowrate of a fluid (7) in a pipe is disclosed. The flowrate is determined using a flowmeter having first and second ultrasonic transducers (10; FIG. 8A) separated along the pipe by a given distance (D; FIG. 1) and inclined so that waves in the fluid propagate at a given path angle (θ; FIG. 1). For a given inner pipe diameter (d; FIG. 1), there is a given integer number of reflections between the first and second ultrasonic transducers. The method comprises obtaining flow rate measurements using wave packets (18) corresponding to an integer number of reflections which is less than said given number.
The present invention relates to a method of producing a modified plant, part, cell or protoplast thereof having an increase in a yield- related trait relative to a reference plant, part, cell or protoplast thereof. More particularly, the invention relates to providing the plant, part, cell or protoplast thereof with an RKD transcription factor, a polynucleotide encoding the same, or a gene editing system for modifying an endogenous nucleic acid sequence encoding an RKD transcription factor or regulatory sequence thereof. Said plants have improvements in a yield-related trait, and thereby improved yield, which is especially useful in agriculture.
A solid ionic conducting material for use in an electrochemical device comprises an oxyhydroxide or hydrated oxide derived from of an oxide with a perovskite, Brownmillerite, layered oxide, and/or K4CdCl6 structure, the elemental composition of the initial oxide being selected to provide suitable conduction properties for the derived anhydrous or hydrated oxyhydroxide or hydrated oxide. A method of making such a solid ionic conducting material, including treatment with water, and an electrochemical device incorporating such a solid ionic conducting material (optionally as an electrolyte) are also disclosed.
The present invention provides, among other things, a process to produce a low molecular weight dispersant polymethacrylate polymer (“LMWDPMA”), and the LMWDPMA itself, along with the use of the LMWDPMA in a lubricating composition, as well as a method for lubricating an internal combustion engine as disclosed herein.
Apparatus (i) for measuring fluid flow is disclosed. The apparatus comprises first, second and third ultrasonic transducers (8), the second and third ultrasonic transducers arranged to receive an ultrasonic wave (13) from the first ultrasonic transducer, wherein the second and third ultrasonic transducers are spaced apart by a given distance. The apparatus further comprises a circuit (6) comprising a phase comparator (21) arranged to compare first and second signals (20) from the second and third ultrasonic transducers.

CRYOPRESERVING AGENT OBTAINABLE FROM POLLEN OR SPORES
The present invention relates to cryopreservation of biological material. In particular, the invention provides processes for producing frozen cryopreserving compositions comprising biological material wherein the cry opreserving composition comprises ice- nucleating agents obtained or obtainable from pollen or spores. The invention also provides cryopreserving compositions comprising ice-nucleating agents obtained or obtainable from pollen or spores, together with a cryoprotectant; and cryopreserved compositions comprising biological material.

Abrégé
The present invention relates to a method of controlling the flow of a fluid in a tube (11) of an infusion pump (1), in particular for chronomodulated administration of anticancer drugs. The inventors found that the actual drug flow exiting such a pump has unexpected time delays and/or drug delivery spikes. The proposed method comprises an estimation of the temporal evolution of the concentration of drug or other substances at an exit end (E11) of said tube (11) as a function of a size of said tube (11). Typically, the size of the tube (11) may be its length (L11)and said concentration may be estimated according to a transport equation.
