This fuel supply system is provided with: a fuel supply device 10 comprising a cylindrical member 30 that is mountable to a mounting part provided in a blast pipe 4 of a blast furnace 1, a hollow-shaped rotating member 40 that is rotatably housed in the cylindrical member 30 and has a base end part from which a fuel is supplied thereinto, a pipe member 20 that is mounted to an end on the blast furnace 1 side of the rotating member 40 and has a leading end part through which the fuel is supplied to the inside of the blast furnace 1, and a drive unit (e.g., a hollow stepping motor 90) for rotating the rotating member 40; and a control device 102 that is provided separately from the fuel supply device 10 and controls the drive unit of the fuel supply device 10 so as to rotate the rotating member 40 and the pipe member 20.
An apparatus for shaving a tap hole surface of a blast furnace or the like wherein efficiency can be improved, and a worker can be freed from physically burdensome work in the vicinity of the lower furnace wall of a blast furnace under high temperature. The apparatus includes a surface shaving unit having smoothing bits, and a rotating mechanism unit that, when the surface shaving unit is pressed against the tap hole surface, rotates the surface shaving unit, by utilizing the pressing force, by a predetermined angle in a predetermined direction substantially parallel to the surface, and holds the surface shaving unit at the rotated position. The rotating mechanism unit eliminates the need for work such that every time a conventional surface shaving unit is separated from the tap hole surface after being pressed against the surface, a worker manually rotates the surface shaving unit by a predetermined angle.
A fuel supply device 10 is provided with: a cylindrical member 30 that is mountable to a mounting portion provided on a blast pipe 4 of a blast furnace 1; a hollow-shaped rotating member 40 that is rotatably housed in an inner portion of the cylindrical member 30 and that has a base end portion from which fuel is supplied thereinto; a pipe member 20 that is attachably/detachably mounted to an edge on the blast furnace 1 side of the rotating member 40 and that has a tip end portion from which fuel is supplied into the blast furnace 1; and a lid member 60 that is attachably/detachably mounted to the cylindrical member 30 and that houses the rotating member 40 in an inner portion of the cylindrical member 30 .
Provided is a facing device for a tap hole of a blast furnace, etc. with which efficiency of leveling work on the surface of a tap hole of the blast furnace, etc. can be improved, and workers can be freed from high temperature work near the furnace wall of the lower part of the blast furnace that is hard on the body. The facing device for a tap hole of a blast furnace, etc. is provided with a facing unit with a leveling bit, and a rotating mechanism unit for rotating the facing unit, when the facing unit is pressed against the surface of the tap hole, by a prescribed angle in a prescribed direction that is roughly parallel to the tap hole surface using said pressing force and holding at said rotated position. The rotating mechanism unit makes work in which a worker manually rotates the facing unit by a prescribed angle each time a conventional facing unit is retracted from the tap hole surface after pressing same on the tap hole surface unnecessary. Therefore, the efficiency of leveling of the tap hole surface by the action of pressing the facing unit thereon is greatly improved compared to the past.
The purpose of the present invention is, for a PC burner having a lance pipe provided such that the tip part thereof approaches the inside of a furnace from a tuyere of a blast furnace, to suppress deformation of the lance pipe by high temperatures and maintain economical and effective combustion. A connection part that holds the lance pipe is provided with: a hollow sleeve; a flange member having a through hole in a core part and being screwed onto an end part on the front side of the sleeve; an adapter that has a through hole in a core part, is inserted into the sleeve from an opening on the rear side of the sleeve, and to which the lance pipe is attached on a front end part; and a spring that firmly presses the adapter against a back end part of the flange member. The lance pipe is rotatable around an axis by loosening of a screw on an adapter member.
Provided are a tool wherein a super-hard tip, such as a cemented carbide tip, is fixed to a steel base, and which is suitable for use primarily for purposes such as opening a taphole; and a practical method of fixing the super-hard tip in the case of said tool. Said tool is a cemented carbide tool which is characterized in that a super-hard tip is inserted into an internally threaded tip hole formed in the steel base, and that a hold-down ring which is provided with a male thread around the external periphery thereof and is capable of being threadably engaged with said tip hole, is threadably installed in the tip hole in such a way as to be fitted over the super-hard tip, resulting in the super-hard tip being pressed and fixed. It is desirable that the external peripheral surface of the super-hard tip be formed as a conical inclined surface wherein the diameter in the upper portion (tip portion) is smaller and the diameter in the lower portion (base portion) is larger, and that the internal peripheral surface of the hold-down ring be formed as a trumpet-shaped inclined surface which closely mates with the conical inclined surface of the super-hard tip.
