Method of marking bark beetle infested trees, and means for executing this method, comprises acquiring a map of a forest and selecting the GNSS coordinates of potential infested areas and possible entry points into the forest for an autonomous UAV. The method further comprises deployment of the autonomous UAV in the nearest entry point with GNSS localization, and integration of localization and mapping information from onboard SLAM algorithms with the GNSS coordinates of its entry point, to enter and navigate the forest and avoid obstacles while reaching the coordinates of the possible bark beetle infestation. The method further comprises inspection of the trees by the UAV using onboard cameras and CNN computer vision algorithms, to identify characteristic marks of bark beetle infestation and verification of the infestation, followed by marking the infested tree by UAV using marking means, preferably with paint dispensed from an onboard paint dispenser, and verification of the marking using its onboard cameras and CNN algorithms.

A sealing microlid (novel microplate sealing lid) designed to evaluate the biological effects of volatile agents in vapour phase in combination with a microplate is disclosed. The sealing microlid includes a plate having a surface, a plurality of flanges extending from the surface, and a protruding opening tab. The flanges of the sealing microlid serve as reservoirs for growth medium containing organisms or cells, which will grow on it, and, at the same time, generate an airtight condition with the well of the microplate necessary for leakage-prevention of the volatile agents tested. The apparatus of the present invention allows quantitative, rapid, simple, labour- and cost-effective susceptibility testing of organism or cell cultures to volatile agents in vapour phase.

The present invention relates to the development and functioning of a device for cultivation of nitrifying biomass, capable of processing fugate by nitrification in order to use the produced biomass to innoculate a large-volume nitrification reactor capable of processing the entire production of fugate within the given biogas plant, or its required part. A method for detection and determination of organic compounds by means of electrochemical activation in an electrochemical cell is described. The flow electrochemical cell provides an alternative to separation methods, upstream mass spectroscopy for the identification and study of particular organic substances. The electrochemically generated ions substances entering the electrochemical cell formed by their oxidation or reduction or electrochemically generated ions from the electrode material and forming adducts with substances contained in the sample matrix are then qualitatively or quantitatively analyzed with a mass spectrometer. The electrochemical activation can be used even for substances that are in the mass spectrometer otherwise undetectable. Thanks to the interchangeable system of the working electrodes the device is applicable in laboratories for serial analysis. Alternatively this cell can be used for specific purposes of basic research, where the easy handling and the possibility of alternative exchange working electrodes (possible to select different electrode e.g. Cu, Ag and Au) allows further modification of the electrochemical system.˙

The solution concerns an electronic circuit for information evaluation from variable electric resistance sensors, where this sensor is formed by a matrix composed of columns and rows. At least one row and one column of the matrix is connected to a circuit which is formed by parallel combination of capacitor (3) and resistor (4) to which row switch (2) is connected in series, and parallel to that is connected a serial combination consisting of terminals for connecting variable electric resistance sensor (6) and column switch (7). So formed connection of elements is connected to power supply (1). The common point of parallel combination of capacitor (3) and resistor (4) is connected over a wave-shaping circuit (8) to counter (9). The row switch (2) is connected to one output of timing block (10) to whose other output is connected column switch (7).
