The present invention discloses a tire building drum (100) for constructing a green tire. The drum includes a central shaft (102) extending coaxially to a rotation axis, and a plurality of drum segments (103) mounted on the central shaft (102). The drum segments (103) are movable to allow the tire building drum (100) to radially expand or collapse to positions corresponding to at least three distinct diameters. A cylindrical structure (110) is positioned between the central shaft (102) and the drum segments (103), enclosing an annular space. The tire building drum also includes a plurality of air vents (104a, 104b, 104c) integrated within the central shaft (102) to create pneumatic pressure in the annular space within the cylindrical structure (110) to move the drum segments (103). The drum's three distinct diameters include a working diameter for applying tire building components, an expanded diameter for stretching the green tire to a predefined dimension, and a collapsed diameter for removing the green tire from the tire building drum (100).
A tire (200) is provided that comprises a tread portion (202) and a pair of sidewalls (204) arranged on either side of the tread portion (202). The tire also comprises a pair of bead assemblies. A bead assembly is located at a lower end of a respective sidewall of the pair of sidewalls (204). Each of the tread portion (202), the pair of sidewalls (204) and the pair of bead assemblies are supported by one or more body plies (216) turned up around each bead assembly. A belt edge filler application device 200 for a tire building process comprises at least one conveyor belt assembly 206 to deliver a strip 208 of a belt edge filler that is to be applied at a circumferential edge of a belt 202 of a green tire 204 mounted on a rotatable drum 210. The conveyor belt assembly 206 comprises a longitudinal conveying member 212 having first end 212-1 coupled to a source of the strip 208 and a second end 212-2 located in proximity of the green tire 204. The conveyor belt assembly 206 comprises a pick and place unit 228 located at the second end 212-2 to pick the strip 208 from the second end 212-2 and place the strip 208 at the circumferential edge. A cutting tool 234 provided at the second end 212-2 cuts the strip 208 after the strip 208 is applied.
A tire having a tread configuration is described. The tread configuration comprises a tread portion (102) that is to make contact with a road surface when fitted in a vehicle. The tread portion (102) comprises a first shoulder block (104), a second shoulder block (106), and a mid-section (108) between the first shoulder block (104) and the second shoulder block (106). The tread portion (102) includes one or more sets of alignment and life visual emblem indicators (herein after referred as visual indicators) (110) engraved on both the first shoulder block (104) and the second shoulder block (104). Each set of the visual indicators (110) comprises a plurality of visual indicators (112) arranged linearly in series along the circumferential direction of the tire (100). The visual indicators (110) are configured to indicate different stages of wear of the tread portion (102) of the tire (100) and misalignment in the tire (100) in the vehicle.

A PROCESS FOR RECOVERING ELASTOMERS FROM RUBBER COMPOUND
The present disclosure provides a process for recovering elastomers from an uncured or cured rubber compound, the process comprising: a. irradiating the rubber compound in presence of a solvent with a microwave radiation at a power in a range of 800 to 2000W for a period in a range of 20 to 40 minutes to obtain a first mixture; b. maintaining the first mixture at 210 to 230 ⁰C for a period in a range of 50 minutes to 120 minutes to obtain a second mixture; and irradiating the second mixture with a microwave radiation at a power in a range of 800 to 2000W for a period in a range of 5 minutes to 15 minutes to recover the elastomers from the rubber compound.

The present invention relates to a poking apparatus (100) that is configured to perform uniform poking of uncured tires. PREFORMER FOR AN EXTRUDER USED IN TIRE MANUFACTURING
A preformer (200) coupled to an extruder head of an extruder to extrude materials for tire manufacturing is described. The preformer comprises a first, second, and third flow channel each having an inlet (202; 204; 206-1, 206-2) and an outlet (208; 210; 212-1, 212-2). At least one flow channel from amongst the first, second, and third flow channels provides an elevated flow path such that material extruded from a bottommost outlet of a flow channel of extruder flows upward to form a top part of a tire (100), i.e., a portion of sidewall region (106), adjacent a tread region (102) of the tire. Thus, a new configuration of the tire is achieved in an existing extruder.
The present disclosure relates to a process of preparing an elastomer composite in an extruder, said process comprising: (a) providing at least one solid particulate ingredient in a first mixing zone to obtain a first mix; (b) providing at least one elastomer in a second mixing zone to obtain a second mix; (c) contacting the first mix and the second mix to obtain a third mix; and (d) processing the third mix to obtain an elastomer composite, wherein the first mixing zone and the second mixing zone has a temperature in the range of 30° C.-50° C., the processing of the third mix is carried out at a temperature in the range of 100° C.-250° C. The present disclosure also relates to a formulation comprising an elastomer composite produced by the process as disclosed herein.

The hollow inner tube (100) further comprises an inner circumferential portion (106) that interfaces the rim (306). The inner circumferential portion (106) has a second thickness (108). The second thickness (108) is variable across the inner circumferential portion (106) and is more than the first thickness (104).
