The invention proposes the use of paired parallel centring bars which are operated by a specific sequence comprising a succession of alternating movements bringing the paired bars together, separated by movements which move apart the bars which have just been brought together, the sequence starting with the bars bearing the protruding electromechanical charging contacts. The invention also makes it possible to detect a fault in which the bars are not parallel and to automatically correct said fault.
