The bar is movable to prevent at least some of the drawers from extending out of the cabinet when in a locked position and allowing at least one of the drawers to extend out of the cabinet in an unlocked position. The motor unit is configured to drive an arm coupled to the bar, the arm being drivable to change a position of the bar from the locked position to the unlocked position.

The dial's range of rotation may be defined by the interaction between a pin disposed on the base and a rotation restriction guide that is defined through an undersurface of the dial.
In a slide assembly (30), an adjustable detent mechanism (110, 130) enables the detent and, therefore, the holding force, between a slide member (39) on a pull-out component and an opposite slide member (92) to be adjusted based on the application and load conditions for the pull-out component. The adjustable detent mechanism may include a base (110) having symmetrically- disposed detent arms (112) and associated legs (115) which interact with respective adjuster cams (134, 135) symmetrically disposed on an adjustment dial (130). The dial is co-axial with, and is received in, the base (110), and both are coupled to one of the slide members (32). The opposite slide member (59) has two symmetrically- disposed retention tabs (40, 41) that interact with respective ones of the detent arms (112) to adjust the holding force between the slide members (32, 39). The dial's range of rotation may be defined by the interaction between a pin (118) disposed on the base (110) and a rotation restriction guide (136) that is defined through an undersurface of the dial (130).

An inner hollow member houses a second spring which regulates movement of a damper shaft such that damping occurs when the shaft is pulled out of the damper.
A system for assisting the linear movement of a pull-out component relative to a housing includes a first bracket coupled to a slide member of the housing, a second bracket coupled to the pull-out component, and a strut that is pivotally coupled to the first and second brackets at its respective ends. The strut includes an outer hollow member that houses a primary spring, a cylindrical piston that translates through one end of the outer hollow member, and a reverse damping mechanism. A linking element extends transverse to an extension direction of the slide assemblies and synchronizes movements of the first slide members of the slide assemblies.
A synchronizing device for use with a pair of drawer slide assemblies where each drawer slide assembly has at least a first slide member moveable relative to a second slide member, and includes a first stabilization element configured to be coupled to the second slide member of one of the slide assemblies, and a second stabilization element configured to be coupled to the second slide member of the other slide assembly. As the drawer is pulled open, the carriage disengages from the cam/tab as it rotates and is locked in place. As the drawer returns, the carriage again engages the cam/tab, unlocks, and is pulled toward a drawer-closed position by the spring. The system may also include an intermediate member, with respective sets of three balls disposed between the intermediate and first and second slide members such that respective centers of the balls define corners of an obtuse triangle. An intermediate rail is partially housed within the drawer rail and includes a web and first and second legs connected by two folds in the material used to form the intermediate rail. A flange extends from the first leg toward the second leg. Bearings housed in bearing cages placed between the rails allow sliding movement therebetween. A cabinet rail is partially housed within the intermediate rail and includes an upright wall and a flange extending away from the upright wall. Ball and roller bearings housed in cages couple the flanges. Grooves in the flanges are engaged by the ball bearings.
