Abrégé
A diversion point water delivery control system with a headgate assembly, first gate, and powered actuator for controlling the first gate. A headgate box surrounds the headgate assembly and has a second gate that restricts waterflow to the diversion point. Sensors measure water levels adjacent to the headgate box and determine water flow. A powered control unit connects to the powered actuator and sensors and has a computer with memory to operate the system, as well as a transceiver for sending and receiving instructions and data. In one mode of operation, the first gate may be automatically positioned and repositioned to maintain a predetermined water flow through a diversion to a channeled waterway despite water level fluctuations in a primary waterway from which water is diverted. This helps the system conserve water by preventing overdelivery and over-diversion in water delivery networks.

Abrégé
A surge irrigation system with one or more valve location units configured for location at a flood irrigation valve assembly. Each valve location unit has an elongate linkage with a rod configured to rotatably open and close a flood irrigation valve assembly with a powered actuator. A control unit is connected to the powered actuator and configured to wirelessly receive instructions to operate the powered actuator. Various embodiments also implement a base station to relay information and/or instructions between valve location units and a user. A user may control the system through, for example, a mobile device interface. Embodiments of the invention may also include moisture sensors configured to provide feedback to the system. A method of using the surge irrigation system is also disclosed.

Abrégé
The invention relates to a system and method for improved characterization and replication of pluralities of features on objects such as aircraft wings, wherein the precise specifications may vary across objects. In one disclosed method, a first 3D data set representing a plurality of object features from a first object is received. The first 3D data set is then converted into one or more 2D data sets including a normal map. A feature search and find operation is then conducted within the normal map. Finally, the resulting data is converted into a second 3D data set and applied to various automated operations such as feature removal, cleaning, replication, etc. In its various embodiments, the invention also includes a computing device for improved object feature characterization and replication speed, a computer readable medium having instructions for performing the above operations, and other apparatus.

Abrégé
This invention relates to a material feeder system and method of use. The present invention relates particularly to a particulate feeder system that includes, among other features, one or more: feeder assemblies for advancing material that incorporate a spool having a channel disposed within its outer circumference for advancing material, the spool having a plurality of circumferentially spaced contours configured so as to not form transverse barriers within the channel; motors configured to connect to the feeder assemblies; and scales for weighing advanced material. The system also includes a computer in communication with the one or more motors and scales, and capable of performing operations to advance a predetermined material weight as well as various related operations. The invention also includes a method using the above.
