GREETING DEVICES FOR PRESENTING A MEDIA ITEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH DEVICES
Greeting devices are described herein. In some embodiments, a greeting device includes a first shell, a second shell, and a hinge pivotally coupling the first shell to the second shell. The first shell can be configured to carry or house a first substrate, and/or the second shell can be configured to carry or house second substrate. One or both of the first and second substrates can be configured to carry or display a media item, such as a message or greeting. The greeting device can be transitionable between a first configuration in which the first substrate and the second substrate face each other, and a second configuration in which the first substrate and the second substrate face away from each other.
A carry bag assembly that includes a first shoulder bag and a smaller second hand bag. The two bags can be carried separately as a unit. The first shoulder bag has a front surface, a rear surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. Two bands extend from the shoulder bag that extend beyond the front surface of the shoulder bag. The second hand bag contains a first belt loop and a second belt loop. The belt loops receive the bands that extend from the shoulder bag. Mechanical connectors connecting the first band to the second band around the hand bag. This selectively locks the smaller hand bag into a fixed position against the front surface of the larger shoulder bag. The two bags can share graphics of design themes so that the two bags appear to be a single unit when attached.
A bag assembly (10) that includes a first shoulder bag (12) and a smaller second hand bag (14). The two bags (12,14) can be carried separately or as a unit. The first shoulder bag (12) has a front surface (16), a first side surface (20), and a second side surface (22). Two bands (28,30) extend from the shoulder bag (12) and extend beyond the front surface (16) of shoulder bag (12). The second hand bag (14) contains belt loops (48). The belt loops (48) receive bands (28,30) that extend from the shoulder bag (12). Mechanical connector (36) attaches first band (28) to second band (30) around the hand bag (14). This locks the smaller hand bag (14) into a fixed position against the shoulder bag (12). The two bags (12,14) can share graphics (31) of design themes so the two bags (12,14) appear to be a single unit when attached.
A carry bag is provided that has exterior surfaces. A cut-out panel is provided that is configured with a character with a theme that is shared by graphics used on the exterior surfaces of the carry bag. A mounting system is used to join the cut-out panel to the carry bag or to a pocket extension on the carry bag. The mounting system enables the cut-out panel to move through a range of motion relative to the carry bag while remaining attached to the carry bag. At least some of the cut-out panel covers at least some of the exterior surfaces of the carry bag at some positions within its range of motion. In this manner, at least some of the cut-out panel is visible on the exterior of the carry bag and the position of the cut-out panel can be selectively altered by the user.
A carry bag (10) is provided that has exterior surfaces (12). A cut-out panel (14) is provided configured with a character with a theme that is shared by graphics (25) used on the exterior surfaces (12) of the carry bag (10). A mounting system (40) is used to join the cut-out panel (14) to the carry bag (10) or to a pocket extension (80) on the carry bag (10). The mounting system (40) enables the cut-out panel (14) to move through a range of motion relative to the carry bag (10) while remaining attached to the carry bag (10). At least some of the cut-out panel (14) covers at least some of the exterior surfaces (12) of the carry bag (10) at some positions within its range of motion. In this manner, at least some of the cut-out panel (14) is visible on the exterior of the carry bag (10).
Fashion coordinated carry bag assembly (10, 60, 70, 112) that includes main bag (12, 72, 114) and pocket extension (36, 62, 122). Pocket extension (36, 62, 122) can be separate bag or integrated extension of main bag (12, 72, 114). Main bag (12, 72, 114) and pocket extension (36, 62, 122) have access openings (30, 41, 80, 96). A fashion coordinated carry bag assembly that includes a main bag and a pocket extension. The pocket extension can be a separate smaller bag or an integrated extension of the main bag. The main bag and the pocket extension both have access openings. Straps are disposed at one or both of the access openings. The straps are used to secure fashion accessories to the carry bag assembly. The fashion accessories have decorative elements that remain visible when the fashion accessories are attached to the carry bad assembly. Accordingly, when the fashion accessories are attached to the carry bag assembly, the decorative elements appear to be part of the overall carry bag assembly. When the fashion accessories are detached from the carry bag assembly, each fashion accessory can be worn separately, therein creating a fashion coordinated ensemble.
Greeting devices are described herein. In some embodiments, the greeting device can include an elongate body having a first end portion defining a chamber, and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. A message module can be positioned at least partially within the chamber. The greeting device can further include a first arm pivotably coupled to a first side of the body, and a second arm pivotably coupled to a second side of the body opposite the first side. An actuation mechanism can be operably coupled to the body. When actuated, the actuation mechanism can be configured to: (i) pivot the first and second arms relative to the body in a first direction toward the message module; and (ii) move the message module in a first direction from the chamber to extend at least partially beyond the body.
