In one preferred embodiment of the process, the peel strength of the preformed liner adhered to the surface of the pipe is at least ten pounds force per inch (10 Ibf/ in). In other preferred embodiments of the process, either a primer or an adhesive aid is used in adhering the preformed liner to the surface of the pipe.
