The paper laminating and bookbinding machine (1) is configured in such a manner that, when the suction rollers (4) send out the printed paper sheet (8), the paper laminating and bookbinding machine (1) causes the pair of plate springs (5) to make contact with both the side edges of the printed paper sheet (8) to thereby elastically deform the pair of plate springs (5), and with the pair of plate springs (5) elastically deformed, a pay-out pressing plate pays out the printed paper sheet (8) with the printed paper sheet (8) made to be in close contact with rails (6).
