The whole composition has hot-melt properties, and the melt viscosity (flow tester measurement) at 100° C. is 50 Pa·s or less. A cured product thereof, and use in semiconductor applications and the like, is also provided. The composition is particularly suitable for use as an adhesive or sealing agent in hot dispensing applications.

CURABLE ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITION AND USE THEREFOR
Provided is a curable organopolysiloxane composition having favorable curing properties, maintaining a favorable pot life even as a single component composition and showing sharp and rapid curing reactivity triggered by ultraviolet light or other high energy beam irradiation and heating, and in which curing defect problems are less likely to occur even in light shielded portions where irradiation with a high energy beam such or the like is difficult. The curable organopolysiloxane composition comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane having a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing an aliphatic unsaturated bond, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, (C) a first hydrosilylation catalyst that exhibits activity by irradiating with a high energy beam, and (D) a second hydrosilylation catalyst microencapsulated by a thermoplastic resin with a softening point within a temperature range of 50 to 200° C. In general, a hydrosilylation reaction inhibitor is substantially not required. A method of forming an organopolysiloxane cured product is also provided.
An object of the present invention is to provide a UV curable organopolysiloxane composition without using organic solvent, in which a cured product obtained by curing has sufficient hardness and toughness, with particularly excellent workability when applied to a substrate. Applications and methods are also provided. The laminate body comprises a structure with two or more laminated organopolysiloxane cured films with different compositions. At least a portion of functional groups involved in the curing reaction are the same. The laminated cured films have structures chemically bonded at an interface thereof. Typically, the compositions both contain a hydrosilylation reactive group, and a SiH/Vi ratio in the compositions differ, with the laminated cured films having structures chemically bonded by hydrosilylation reactions at an interface thereof.
This disclosure relates to a curable silicone composition that contains little to no solvent, has excellent transparency and adhesion to a substrate, and has a low overall haze value, and also relates to a cured product thereof. A silicone rubber composition is provided. The composition comprises: (A) a straight chain organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule; (B) a resinous organopolysiloxane containing: SiO4/2 unit, R12R2SiO1/2 unit and R13SiO1/2 unit, wherein R1 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms and R2 represents an alkenyl group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, and containing 0.1 to 5.0 mass % of the alkenyl groups; (C) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule; (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; (E) a reinforcing silica fine powder; and (F) an intumescent flame retardant. When the composition is coated on a woven material, such as a base material for an airbag or the like, the composition can provide the woven material with sufficient flame retardance even with a low coating amount, and the composition can suppress an aperture of the woven material.

CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION HAVING HOT MELT PROPERTIES, CURED PRODUCT OF SAME, AND MULTILAYER BODY COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITION
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a curable silicone composition which has excellent curing characteristics and excellent fluidity during heating and melting, while enabling fine filling and exhibiting excellent storage stability as the whole composition, and which can be molded into a product having a thickness and forms a hard cured product that has little surface tackiness by means of curing; and a use of this curable silicone composition. [Solution] The present invention provides a curable silicone composition which contains: (A) a solid organopolysiloxane resin that contains (A1) an organopolysiloxane resin that has a curing-reactive functional group and contains 20% by mole or more of a Q unit, and (A2) an organopolysiloxane resin that does not have a curing-reactive functional group and contains 20% by mole or more of a Q unit; (B) 10 to 100 parts by mass of a linear or branched organopolysiloxane that has a curing-reactive functional group; (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane; and (D) a hydrosilylation catalyst-containing fine particles that use a thermoplastic resin which has a Tg within the range of 110°C to 200°C. This curable silicone composition as a whole has hot melt properties.
