METHOD FOR RECOVERING METAL ZINC FROM SOLID METALLURGICAL WASTES
A method for recovering metal zinc from a solid metallurgical waste containing zinc and manganese, may include: (a) bringing the solid metallurgical waste into contact with an aqueous leaching solution comprising chloride ions and ammonium ions to produce at least one leachate including zinc ions and manganese ions and at least one insoluble solid residue; (b) cementing the leachate, by adding metal zinc as a precipitating agent, to eliminate at least one metal other than zinc and manganese possibly present in the leachate as ions and producing a purified leachate; (c) subjecting the purified leachate to electrolysis in an electrolytic cell including at least one cathode and at least one anode immersed in the purified leachate to deposit metal zinc on the cathode and producing at least one exhausted leachate, and, before the electrolysis, precipitating manganese ions by oxidation with permanganate ions and subsequently separating a precipitate including MnO2.

PROCESS FOR RECOVERING LEAD FROM A LEAD PASTEL AND USE THEREOF IN A PROCESS FOR RECOVERING LEAD-ACID ACCUMULATOR COMPONENTS
The present invention concerns a process for the recovery of lead from a lead pastel electrolytically, where the pastel contains lead sulfate. The process provides for the leaching of the non-desulfurised pastel and the subsequent removal of the sulfates by precipitation; the leachate containing the lead ions is then subjected to electrolysis for the recovery of metal lead. The present invention further relates to a process for the recovery of lead accumulator components, wherein the lead contained in the pastel of the accumulators is recovered according to the aforesaid process.
The present invention relates to a process for desulphurising a material containing PbSO4, which comprises the following steps: (a) reacting said material in water with NaOH to produce an aqueous solution of Na2SO4 comprising a desulphurised material in the form of a dispersed solid containing lead oxide, lead hydroxide or mixtures thereof; (b) separating said desulphurised material from said aqueous solution of Na2SO4,- (c) subjecting said Na2SO4 aqueous solution coming from said step (b) to an electrolysis process in at least one electrolytic cell in order to form at least a H2SO4 aqueous solution, a NaOH aqueous solution and a desalinated aqueous solution comprising Na2SO4,- (d) recycling at least part of said NaOH aqueous solution and at least part of said desalinated aqueous solution comprising Na2SO4 to said step (a).
The present invention relates to a process for treating a solid carbonaceous material containing aluminum, fluorides and Na+ ions, comprising the following steps: (a) leaching said solid carbonaceous material with at least one aqueous alkaline solution to form: (i) an extraction solution comprising said aluminum in hydrosoluble form, said fluorides and said Na+ ions, and (ii) at least one solid insoluble residue; (b) separating said insoluble solid residue from said extraction solution; (c) subjecting said extraction solution free from said solid insoluble residue to a membrane electrolysis process to form at least one precipitate comprising said aluminum and at least one aqueous solution of NaOH.
