Abrégé
The invention relates to an apparatus for removal of surface scum, particularly in a circular processing space (1) such as a clarification tank or the like. The apparatus comprises mechanical processing means making use of a surface skimming assembly (4) for the removal of surface scum floating to a surface (np) of liquid present in the processing space, by means of one or more surface scrapers (2a) rotating (w) around the center of the process space. The surface scraper has its element (2b), which serves to scrape surface scum into an outlet opening (4a) included in the surface skimming assembly (4), adapted to be rotatable (z) around a longitudinal axis (si) for scraping the surface scum along a baffle arrangement (op), which extends above the liquid surface, in a manner that enables the rotating motion (w) of the surface scraper (2a) on a substantially constant level (t). The surface scum skimming element (2b) is provided with a flushing trough (2b2), which is provided with an inlet opening (A) extending in its standby position (I), prior to making contact with the baffle arrangement (op), substantially below the liquid surface, and which, while passing along a flushing chute of the baffle arrangement, assumes an inclined position (y) and delivers flushing liquid onto the flushing chute for facilitating the passage of surface scum to the outlet opening (4a) of the surface skimming assembly.

Abrégé
The invention relates to an arrangement in a liquid treatment space, such as in a clarification basin or like clarifying liquid by gravitation, the arrangement consisting at least of a feed assembly (1) for leading of the liquid to be treated, such as waste water or like, into the treatment space (K) by a fixed distribution channel (1a) being led therein. The feed assembly comprises at least two elongated and in a longitudinal direction (s2) thereof straight feed channels (1b) being fixed stationarily in the distribution channel (1a) and extending therefrom sidewards, in order to achieve in the treatment space (K) a radially widened feed zone (z1) in respect with the distribution channel (1a) by means of an efflux assembly (1c) provided with the feed channels, such as flow openings (1c1), nozzles and/or like, the efflux assembly discharging the liquid to be treated into the treatment space through full length thereof.

Abrégé
The invention relates to a method and exhaust arrangement in the removal of surface scum, whereby an exhaust arrangement (2) is used existing in connection with a liquid basin (N), such as a settling tank or like. The exhaust arrangement comprises a first surface chute arrangement (2a) for removal of surface scum by means of an overflow arrangement (2a1), belonging to the same and being based on a continuous flow, by means of which the surface scum is being overflown in at least two successive phases, in the first place from the fluid basin (N) into a primary space (I) in the fluid basin and on the other hand furthermore therefrom into a secondary space (II) in the fluid basin, from where it is being finally exhausted from the liquid basin by means of an exhaust assembly (P) for the surface scum, such as by one or more exhaust pipes, channels or like. The exhaust arrangement comprises furthermore a second surface chute arrangement (2c) for removal of liquid, being processed in the liquid basin, such as clarified water. Overflow of the surface scum in the primary space (I) to the secondary space (II) is being controlled particularly in order to minimize the amount of liquid drifting together therewith by adjusting a level (hi) of the liquid in the primary space (I) by means of a flow balancing assembly (2a2) that connects the primary space (I) and the second surface chute arrangement (2c) and/or by using an adjusting device (LL) existing in the wall defining the primary space (I) and the secondary space (II). Passage of the surface scum in the primary space (I) towards the secondary space (II) is being made more efficient by using a guiding arrangement (X) by means of which a liquid flow (W) taking place in the primary space (I) towards the secondary space (II) is achieved to direct the surface scum.
