The apparatus comprises a container for receiving said textile products, protective gear and/or equipment, and the container is adapted to receive a compressed gas, this compressed gas being the cleaning fluid. The compressed gas is in gaseous, liquid or supercritical liquid state. The apparatus further comprises a first and a second, mutually separated fluid system, which first fluid system comprises a first fluid conducting means in the container to heat the compressed gas in gaseous, liquid or supercritical liquid state in this container, the second fluid system comprising a second fluid conducting means in the container to cool the compressed gas in gaseous, liquid or supercritical liquid state in the container. Each of said fluid conducting means comprises a tubing having the shape of a helix positioned within the container.
