More particularly, the cold water generation unit comprises: a cold water tank for storing filtered water; an evaporator receiving a refrigerant that has passed through a compressor, a condenser and an expansion valve, provided so as to come in contact with the outer lateral side of the cold water tank, and for cooling the water stored in the cold water tank; and heat pipes for connecting the evaporator and the cold water tank and provided so as to come in contact with the other lateral side, of the cold water tank, not coming into contact with the evaporator. Therefore, the water stored inside the cold water tank can be cooled quickly and energy can be saved.
