A high-density high-energy emulsion explosive, comprising 66-85 parts by weight of an aqueous phase, 28-35 parts by weight of an oil phase, and 5-10 parts by weight of an additive, the aqueous phase comprising the following components in parts by weight: 20-28 parts of ammonium nitrate, 4-8 parts of perchlorate salt, 20-28 parts of nitro-metal salt, 3-6 parts of thiourea, and 5-18 parts of water, the oil phase comprising the following components in parts by weight: 6-14 parts of PCE, 8-15 parts of Span 80 or 6-10 parts of T155, 2-8 parts of waste oil or 2-8 parts of engine oil, and 2-8 parts of compound wax or 2-8 parts of paraffin wax. The emulsion explosive has relatively high density, explosive heat, power and energy density, and better meets requirements for open pit mine deep hole blast mining and underwater special blast engineering.
