Abrégé
The invention relates to the field of chemistry, in particular, coke chemistry, and provides for bringing a primary coke-oven battery into operation in the construction of new coking plants when there is no possibility of warming up the first (primary) battery with coke gas, and for reducing the consumption of heating gas, and for uniformly warming up the refractory lining of the ovens of the coke-oven batteries with a limited choice of heat-transfer agents without using external furnaces and with the possibility of installing coke-oven doors prior to the start of the warming-up operation. The method for warming up the refractory lining of a coke-oven battery comprises supplying heating gas to coke-oven chambers, and warming up and transferring the latter to continuous heating until an internal reciprocal coke gas is produced. The battery has a lower or lateral supply of heating gas, and a regasified compressed propane-butane gas is used as the heating gas. The oven burners are equipped with a screen and are mounted in a temporary internal coke-oven furnace at the mechanical and coke end of the battery. Air is fed into the furnaces via movable flaps which are mounted on apertures for kindling, said apertures being formed in the facade of the temporary internal furnaces or in pre-installed coke-oven doors. Upon the transfer to continuous heating until a temperature of guaranteed ignition of the propane-butane gas in all vertical flues is reached, the propane-butane gas is fed into a continuous distributing coke-gas pipeline, which is temporarily capped off from a reciprocal-coke-gas supply pipeline via a pre-installed pipe stub with a gate valve, said propane-butane gas being mixed with air which is feedable in from a lower duct in units for supplying the heating gas into each vertical flue or gas conduit.

Abrégé
The invention relates to the field of the by-product coke industry. A method for heating the fireproof lining of a battery of coke ovens is proposed, according to which the heating gas used is liquid propane-butane which is first of all subjected to regasification in an evaporator-type heat exchanger and is then fed to burners, each of which is equipped with a shield and is mounted in a temporary internal furnace in each coke oven on the mechanical and coke oven side of the battery, wherein a controllable air flow is fed into the furnace through a kindling aperture formed in the front of the temporary internal furnace, wherein the quantity of air fed into the furnace is controlled with the aid of movable flaps which are mounted in the kindling apertures and make it possible to adjust the free area of the kindling aperture during the heating process, and the specified heating temperature regime is maintained by controlling the oven draught and the consumption of propane-butane fed to the burners. The invention ensures uniform heating of the lining in the absence of external furnaces.

Abrégé
The invention can be used for repairing a refractory lining of furnaces in a coke battery without said battery being brought out of the production cycle. Once the coke has been discharged from the furnaces undergoing repair and the buffer furnaces have been brought out of operation, the temperature in the buffer furnaces and the furnaces undergoing repair is reduced to a set level. Then, the heating partitions of the buffer furnaces which are adjacent to the furnaces undergoing repair are covered with a thermally insulating material, the heating partitions undergoing repair are dismantled and a new lining is applied to the heating partitions, and also the insert parts of the furnace are installed. At the same time as the dismantling of the partitions is begun, a metal structure which can be assembled and dismantled and is in the form of a bridge is fitted at the top of the coke battery which is equipped with tracks, above the section of the repair zone of the battery. The bridge consists of two longitudinal bars and a plurality of transverse bars, the number of said bars being dependent on the number of partitions undergoing repair. The bridge is fitted beneath both rails of the existing tracks in such a way that the bearing capacity of the fitted bridge is no less than the weight of one carriage which is completely loaded with a coke charge. The invention makes it possible to reduce the amount of time required for repair work, to increase the reliability of repaired partitions of a coke battery and to reduce material losses when carrying out repair work.
