Abrégé
The aim of the invention is to provide a radiation protection wall (1) which allows the entire reuse of no longer required glass of cathode-ray tubes. In this way, a stable, space-dividing wall which has at the same time transparent to opaque properties shall be implemented with simple means. The radiation protection wall (1) is composed of transparent to opaque plates (3) which are melted from recycled glass granulate of cathode-ray tubes so as to form a wall assembly (2). The transparent to opaque plates (3) are glued at the joints (4) or are inserted or glued in a supporting frame (5). The radiation protection wall (5) according to the invention is preferably suited for shielding from low-energetic radiation such as X-ray radiation. The aim of the invention is to enable glasses from electrode-ray tubes which are no longer in use to be reused in an efficient and environmentally compatible manner.
