The present invention relates to a binding for a snowboard and, more particularly, to a binding for a snowboard that can be locked to or unlocked from snowboard boots by one pivot motion of a lever so as to be applied to snowboard boots of different sizes. The binding includes: guides, each extending rearward from both sidewalls of a base; movable sidewalls installed to be able to slide along the guides; a highback having one end hinged to the movable sidewalls and the other end pivoting between a vertical position and a rear position; a foot cover spaced apart from the upper portion of the base; a lever hinged to the rear surface of the highback; a first wire which forms a closed loop and of which one side is supported by a first support hole formed in the lever, the other side is supported by the front end portion of the foot cover, and the middle portion thereof passes through each of the movable sidewalls at both sides and the sidewalls of the base; a second wire which forms a closed loop and of which one side is supported by the first support hole formed in the lever, and the middle portion thereof is supported by the rear end portion of the foot cover via the movable sidewalls at both sides; and displacement adjustors, installed at both sidewalls of the base, for bending and deforming the first wire passing therethrough, thereby adjusting the displacement of the first wire in forward and rearward directions corresponding to the sliding movement of the movable sidewalls.
