The selected moisture vapor transmission rate of the laminated material is determined by a combination of the openings in the fabric layer, the water vapor transmission rate of the microporous film, and the coating weight of the adhesive. The laminated material is useful as housewrap, roofing membranes, building flashing, breathable apparel and surgical barriers.
