The polypropylene composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 90-95 parts of polypropylene, 1-2 parts of hypophosphite, 0.5-2 parts of a brominated flame retardant, 0.2-0.5 parts of a flame retardant synergist, 0.1-0.4 parts of a main antioxidant, 0.1-0.4 parts of an auxiliary antioxidant, and 0.2-0.4 parts of a hindered amine light stabilizer other than an N-substituted alkoxy hindered amine, wherein the flame retardant synergist is one or more of N-substituted alkoxy hindered amines. The polypropylene composition provided in the present invention has the advantages of resistance to high-temperature failure, a long chalking time and low probability of discoloration during processing.
