METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ILLUMINATION DEVICE, AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
Conventional devices have the problem of being unable to sufficiently suppress brightness variation when a light guide is caused to emit light. An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing an illumination device comprising a light guide and a light emission control unit that performs generation of light to be provided to the light guide and light-adjustment control on the basis of a light emission control value. The method comprises: an initial tristimulus value acquiring step (S1, S3) for providing light to the light guide in a state of being placed in a pre-set testing shape, the light being such that the light guide has a highest light emission intensity, and for measuring the tristimulus value at a predetermined position of the light guide; a correction value calculating process (S4) for using a computing device to calculate a correction value for correcting a light emission control value such that the difference between the tristimulus value and a pre-set target tristimulus value is minimized; and a correction value setting step (S5) for using the computing device to write the correction value to a non-volatile memory in the light emission control unit.
Conventional heater units have a problem in that both ventilation characteristics and mechanical strength cannot be satisfied at the same time. A heater unit includes a base material and a cord-shaped heater, the cord-shaped heater being disposed on and fixed to the base material, in which the base material is made by combining a structural yarn that is disposed in an approximately planar shape and a nonwoven fabric with each other, and the cord-shaped heater is fixed in direct contact with the structural yarn.
Provided with a cord-shaped heater and a sheet-shaped heater using the cord-shaped heater enabling to process the terminal easily. A cord-shaped heater 10 including one or a plurality of conductive wires 5a covered with an insulating film 5b, wherein the insulating film 5b at least includes an inner layer formed on the conductive wires 5a and an outer layer formed outside the inner layer, and the thermal decomposition temperature of a first material constituting the inner layer is lower than the melting temperature of a second material constituting the outer layer and lower than the thermal decomposition temperature of the second material. PLANAR UNIT, STEERING WHEEL, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PLANAR UNIT
The present invention provides a planar unit and a steering wheel that prevent a user from having a feeling of incongruity during steering operation and the like, and that excel in producibility. This planar unit is composed of a base material and a linear body arranged on the base material, with the linear body being a heater wire and/or a sensor wire. A heat-fused portion is formed on the outermost layer of the linear body, and the planar unit either has a thread that joins the linear body and the base material, with the thread digging into the heat-fused portion of the linear body, or has a thread trace formed by the melting of a thread that joins the linear body and the base material, with the heat-fused portion of the linear body and the thread trace being flattened. Also provided is a steering wheel wherein the planar unit is installed between a wheel core material and a coating material.
Provided are: a cord-shaped heater having improved terminal workability; and a planar heater using the cord-shaped heater. A cord-shaped heater (10) comprises one or a plurality of conductor wires (5a), each of which is covered by an insulating coating (5b). The insulating coating (5b) comprises at least an inner layer formed on the conductor wire (5a) and an outer layer formed on the outer side of the inner layer. The thermal decomposition temperature of a material that forms the inner layer is lower than the lower of the melting point and the thermal decomposition temperature of a material that forms the outer layer. The thickness of the inner layer is at least 2 μm and is either 5 μm or less or less than two-thirds of the total thickness of the insulating coating (5b). The thickness of the outer layer is at least 1 μm and is either 5 μm or less or less than three-fourths of the total thickness of the insulating coating (5b). In this cord-shaped heater (10), the material that forms the inner layer is a polyurethane resin, and the material that forms the outer layer is a polyamide–imide resin. This planar heater is constituted by disposing the cord-shaped heater on a substrate.

The substrate (11) is formed by combining a structural yarn (11a) and a nonwoven fabric (11b) that are disposed in a substantially planar fashion. Conventional control devices have posed a problem in that the devices involve a large mounting volume. A heater heating control device according to the present invention has: a drive circuit (21); a first switch (SW0) for selecting either one of a battery voltage (Vbat) and a capacitor voltage (Vc1) so as to apply the selected voltage to the drive circuit (21); a capacitor (24) having one terminal from which the capacitor voltage (Vc1) is outputted; a second switch (SW2) for selecting either one of a ground voltage and a battery voltage (Vbat) applied from the outside as to apply the selected voltage to the other terminal of the capacitor (24); and a control unit (22). The control unit (22) controls the second switch (SW2) so that the battery voltage (Vbat) is applied to the other terminal of the capacitor (24) during a rapid heating period designated by a host system to thereby apply the capacitor voltage (Vc1) to the drive circuit (21). During a steady control period in which a heater (31) is controlled at a temperature of or close to a target value, electric power is supplied from the drive circuit (21) to the heater (31) on the basis of the battery voltage (Vbat).

To provide a seat heater and the manufacturing method thereof, having the stable adherent strength between the heating wire and the base cloth for a long time, with a good seat feeling, at a lower cost. The seat heater is comprising, a base cloth mixed with heat bonding filament, and a heating wire having a heat bonding layer and being placed in a predetermined pattern shape, in order to adhere to and be fixed on the base cloth by heat bonding under heat and pressure. Thus the stable adherent strength between the heating wire and the base cloth may be maintained for a long time, with a good seat feeling, at a lower cost.
