The method may include the steps of: performing heat treatment on an object corresponding to a waste lithium ion battery through a heat treatment device; performing a crushing process using a crushing device in correspondence to the object recovered after the heat treatment, to obtain a plurality of recovery bodies; performing a filtering process on the plurality of recovery bodies through a sieving device to obtain a plurality of separation bodies having different particle sizes; performing a leaching process using a leaching device in correspondence to a first one among the plurality of separation bodies to separate lithium carbonate from the first separation body and obtain a valuable metal oxide; performing a pulverizing process on the valuable metal oxide through a pulverization device to refine the valuable metal oxide; obtaining mixed powder from the refined valuable metal oxide through a magnetic separation process using a magnetic separation device; and separating the valuable metal oxide from which the mixed powder has been removed into a plurality of sub-oxides on the basis of the difference in specific gravity between components by using a specific gravity separation device.

The present invention provides a recycling device comprising: a heating part that heats an object positioned inside a working part; a temperature measuring part that measures the temperature of the working part or the heating part; and a control part that controls the internal temperature of the working part, and the recycling device further comprising: an input part that supplies the object to the working part; and an exhaust part that withdraws the object from the working part. According to the present invention, by varying the temperature configuration according to the heat treatment position of the object, the heat treatment efficiency can be maximized in working sections, the main points of which are miniaturization of the object and reduction of the object, respectively, and by heating a waste battery composed of mixtures of various materials at various temperatures, the amount of valuable metals that can be recovered per same time can be maximized.
The present invention provides a saggar for a waste battery recycling apparatus, the saggar being a storage part that is inserted together with a target object into a waste battery recycling apparatus having a work part. The storage part includes a body part and a mesh part that comes in contact with the target object inside the body part, and a pre-designated gas that is set to flow into the work part enters the storage part. According to the present invention, by facilitating the injection of gas for heat-treating waste batteries, the effectiveness of heat treatment can be maximized and a large amount waste batteries can be heat-treated, and waste batteries of multiple types can be processed together.
The present invention provides an apparatus for vertical recycling waste batteries, the apparatus comprising: a heating unit for heating objects located inside an operation unit; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the heating unit, wherein the control unit controls at least one of the temperature increase rate or temperature increase time of the heating unit. According to the present invention, heat treatment efficiency is maximized through heat treatment based on an optimal temperature increase rate, and a storage part to which the objects are introduced can be easily moved and securely fixed to minimize operator intervention in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment and thereby significantly increase convenience and safety. The present invention, which incorporates a vertical dry smelting method, enables mass processing without pretreatment processing the objects, and can minimize the generation of hazardous substances.
The purpose of the present invention is to recover valuable metals by heating objects located inside a work unit. The work unit heat-treats the objects under a mixed reducing gas atmosphere in which log(PCO2/PCO), the logarithm of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide divided by the partial pressure of carbon monoxide, is -2.15 to 2.5. According to the present invention, carbon emissions during the heat treatment of waste batteries are prevented, and the heat treatment efficiency can be maximized by actively controlling the gas environment in which carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide are mixed.

The present invention provides an apparatus for the vertical recycling of waste batteries, comprising: an input part for inputting a storage part including an object into an operation part; and a discharge part for withdrawing the storage part from the operation part, wherein the input part further comprises a moving partition part for controlling input of the storage unit to the operation part.
