The method further comprises classifying (104) the invention-related information according to whether or not the indication of the DCO and one or more ECFs indicates that the invention-related information belongs to either: a first class in which the invention-related information has: the same DCO as one or more of the sources; and one or more ECFs of the invention-related information are different to one or more ECFs of the one or more sources; or a second class in which the invention-related information has: the same DCO as one or more of the sources; and one or more ECFs of the invention-related information are the same as one or more ECFs of the one or more sources. The method further comprises providing (106) an indication of whether the invention-related information has been classified as belonging to the first class, the second class or does not belong to either class.
