The direction conversion tool 2 comprises: a clamping part 4 that that clamps an angle member 50 used for the cross arm of the utility pole; and a turning part 10 that can turn horizontally in relation to the pinching part 4. The clamping part 4 is constituted from a horizontal-side clamping part 6 that clamps in the horizontal direction, and a vertical-side clamping part 8 that clamps in the vertical direction. The turning part 10 comprises a gripping part 14 that grips devices, and a pitch angle adjustment unit 26 with which it is possible to adjust the pitch angle of the gripping part 14.
