ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electric fishing jigger for alernately raising and lowering a fishing line in an irregular fashion comprising an arm rotatably mounted on a fishing rod, the arm being rotated with the fishing line temporarily secured to an over- lapping coiled configuration on said arm. The arm is formed in first and second portions at right angles to one another with a resilient coil therebetween yieldingly supporting the overlapping coiled configuration to which the fishing line is temporarily secured. -2-
