According to these and other aspects of the disclosure, an air cooling device is provided. The air cooling device includes a housing that defines a compartment. A Peltier module at least partially divides the compartment into a first chamber and a second chamber. The Peltier module has a cooled surface located in the first chamber and a heated surface located in the second chamber. The housing defines a first opening fluidly connected to the first chamber. A first fan is located in first chamber and is configured to emit air from the first chamber that has been cooled by the cooled surface of the Peltier module through the first opening.

The evaporative air cooler also includes an ice pack at least partially received and supported by the holder. The ice pack is configured for cooling air entering the evaporative air cooler.

An evaporative air cooler is disclosed that includes a housing enclosing its components, including a Liquid tank located near the housing's top. This tank is designed to receive, store, and dispense liquid for cooling purposes. A mister, in fluid communication with the tank, generates a mist from the stored liquid. The device also includes a primary filter structure capable of absorbing this mist to aid in the cooling process. Air is drawn into the cooler's interior by a fan, which cools the air using the mist, the primary filter, or both, before expelling it into the surrounding area. Additionally, the cooler is equipped with a clip for removably attaching it to various objects. A secondary filter, positioned around the perimeter of the primary filter structure, further absorbs mist and is connected to the cooling process.
