A training device includes a tether having inelastic portions disposed between its ends, where each inelastic portion is separated by an elastic portion, and where each of the ends is configured for engagement with hands of a trainer. The training device may include a belt that wraps around an athlete's body including a ring on a back portion thereof having an opening for receiving an end of the tether therethrough. When the belt is secured around the athlete's body and the tether is disposed through the ring, the training device may create a coupling between the trainer and athlete when the trainer secures the ends of the tether. The coupling may be substantially released when the first user releases one end of the tether such that the released end is substantially unrestrained to traverse through the ring thereby fully disengaging the tether from the belt.

The height of the hurdle is adjusted by changing the length of the base.
An adjustable golf swing training device for use with multiple different golf clubs having a template frame partially surrounding and defining a ball hitting area. A club selection bar slidably cooperates with the primary longitudinal frame section so that movement of the club selection bar with respect to the primary longitudinal frame section aligns the club indicia for one of the multiple different golf clubs with the club face alignment tab and establishes the location of the front foot marker and the back foot marker to inform a user of the proper foot locations for the golf club when a golf ball is positioned in the ball hitting area and aligned with the club face alignment tab.
A massager includes a ball captive in a cup adapted to be used with or without a holder. The ball contains a thermal liquid which may be refrigerated or frozen to provide a cold rolling ball massage. The holder and the cup may be thermally insulating to protect the user's hand from the cold temperature of the ball. The holder may have a bottom opening to allow the cup to be pushed out of the holder. Ridges on the holder may be used to provide an enhanced grip.
A massager includes a holder having an opening and an insert insertable into and removable from the opening. The holder may be ball-shaped. Opposite ends of the insert may have different spherical curvatures, and the insert may have a cylindrical body. The holder may be softer than the insert. The insert may be inverted to provide an alternative surface for trigger point massaging or other applications. Alternatively, a massager may have a ball assembly in an opening of a holder, with the holder in the form of a truncated sphere. The cup may optionally have an outer surface having a curvature substantially matching the curvature of the holder. Balls or inserts may be provided on a strap loop, with the balls and inserts used in combination or individually.
An agility ladder has a plurality of rungs including first and second rungs. A left link assembly has ends pivotally attached to left ends of the first and second rungs, and a right link assembly has ends pivotally attached to right ends of the first and second rungs. The left and right link assemblies each include first and second links having equal lengths, with the first and second links joined at a link pivot joint which allows the first and second links to form an angle between them of less than 180 degrees.
E06C 1/38 - Special constructions of ladders, e.g. ladders with more or less than two longitudinal members, ladders with movable rungs or other treads, longitudinally-foldable ladders
A backpack has a divider panel having four sides, with a first side pivotally attached to a main bag. A divider panel zipper attaches the second, third and fourth sides of the divider panel to the main bag. The divider panel is movable, by unzipping the divider panel zipper, from a first position wherein the divider panel is substantially horizontal and divides the main bag into upper and lower compartments, to a second position wherein the divider panel is more vertical and the main bag is not divided into upper and lower compartments. An odor absorber is removably contained within a pouch in the divider panel. The pouch may be formed of mesh layers attached together at their perimeter.
A sports training agility ladder is usable in a flat ladder position with the ladder rungs on or close to the ground. The ladder may also be moved into and used in a hurdle position where a bridge or center section of each rung is raised up off of the ground. The ladder accordingly provides advantages of an agility ladder and of hurdles. Each rung may have permanently attached left and right tubes forming a frame. Left and right elastic cords may extend through the left and right tubes. The ladder is consequently easily and compactly folded up for storage and transport, and quickly and easily unfolded for use in either the ladder position or the hurdle position.
A folding and reclining chair has first left and right side poles pivotally attached to left and right rear feet. Risers are pivotally attached to the left and right side poles. An angle fitting is rigidly attached to each riser. Back poles are pivotally attached to the angle fittings. A flexible material is attached to or supported by the back poles to provide a back rest. A position lock may be associated with the angle fitting for locking the back pole into one of two or more positions. The chair may be a quad type chair having sliding front and rear connectors.
A handle for an elastic resistance cord training system includes a grip on a handle frame adjacent to a first end of the handle frame. A base is provided on the handle frame adjacent to a second end of the handle frame, with the base having one or more one cord channels. A gate is movable or slidable on the handle frame from an open position where the gate is substantially spaced apart from the cord channel, to a closed position wherein the gate overlies the cord channel. With the gate in the open position, the cords can be quickly and easily swapped out.

A golf mat includes a frame having a central channel between left and right side shoulders. A hitting pad, such as an artificial turf pad, is slidable within or on the central channel. At least one elastic element, such as a rubber cord, extends laterally across the channel, and with the elastic element attached directly or indirectly to the artificial turf pad. Impact of the golf club head on the pad causes the pad to slide forward, absorbing impact forces and providing a feel to the golfer closer to hitting off of real grass. The elastic element decelerates the pad, and returns to the pad to its original position after the impact. The elastic element may be an elastic cord having plugged or knotted ends secured between inner and outer walls of the side shoulders of the frame.
A folding canopy chair includes a frame, a seat, a back, and arm rests. An umbrella is secured to the frame and is pivotal between an upright use position extending above the chair and a downward storage position adjacent the frame. The umbrella is pivotal about both a horizontal axis and a vertical axis for selective positioning of the umbrella relative to the chair, so as to shade a person sitting in the chair from the sun. The umbrella may be non-symmetrical, and removably mounted on either the left or right side of the chair.
A portable shelter may be provided with ground assembly, flex poles, and a cover assembly. The ground assembly may include a ground sheet or pad having rigid elements, such as metal ground poles along opposite sides. The ground poles may extend through sleeves on the ground sheet. The ends of the flex poles can be attached to fittings on the ends of the ground poles, with the flex poles flexed into an arc when the shelter is set up. The cover assembly includes a flexible cover made for example of fabric effective at blocking sunlight. Flex pole attachment devices, such as snap-on clamp fittings, may be spaced apart along opposite ends of the cover for attaching the cover onto the flex poles. Ground pole attachment devices may be spaced apart along opposite sides of the cover for attaching the cover to the ground poles.
