Abstract
A swiveling device includes a housing, an output shaft mounted in the housing and led out of the housing, a drive arranged in the housing for swiveling the output shaft, a swiveling element connected for conjoint rotation to the output shaft in the region thereof which is led out of the housing, and with a receptacle mounted in the swiveling element and connected thereto, wherein the receptacle can be arranged at different angular positions. The swiveling device provides that the swiveling element has a receiving profile for the receptacle, and the receptacle has a mating profile which corresponds to the receiving profile, wherein the receiving profile and the mating profile are configured so that the profiles can be arranged in different positions of receptacle and swiveling element with respect to each other.

Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1) for positioning body components in the motor vehicle industry, having a housing (2) and two rods (3) which are mounted in the housing (2) parallel to each other and which can be moved axially, wherein the two rods (3) can be moved by means of a common drive unit (6). One end of each rod (3) is guided out of the housing (2), and a positioning tool (14) can be connected to said end. Each rod (3) of the device (1) has a bearing section (4) formed within the housing (2). The device (1) further has at least one bearing element (7) which receives the bearing sections (4), and the bearing element (7) interacts with the drive unit (6) in order to move the rods (3). Each bearing section (4) is mounted in the bearing element (7) in a rotatable manner about a longitudinal axis (10) of the respective rod (3).

Abstract
The invention proposes a connection of two adapter parts (5, 19) of a supporting apparatus (1), which can be constructed in a modular manner, for supporting tools, workpieces or the like, having a first adapter part (19) which has an end-side attachment (25) with a partially spherical recess (26), a second adapter part (5) which has an end-side spherical attachment (7) for insertion into the partially spherical recess (26) in the first adapter part (19) and has a clamping ring (9) which bears against the spherical attachment (7), on its half which is averted from the partially spherical recess (26), having a connecting clip (36) which engages behind the attachment (25) of the first adapter part (19) and the clamping ring (9) of the second adapter part (5) on sides which are averted from one another and also fixes said attachment and clamping ring axially and radially in relation to one another, wherein the attachment (25) of the first adapter part (19) and the clamping ring (9) each have at least one weakening region (34, 33) for deforming the attachment (25) of the first adapter part (19) and clamping ring (9) when the connecting clip (36) acts on said attachment and clamping ring. A connection of this kind is secure when tools, workpieces or the like of a relatively high weight are held by the supporting apparatus.

Abstract
A clamping device has a clamping arm mounted pivotable in a housing of the clamping device, a first locking means pivotable corresponding to the pivoting movement of the clamping arm, and a second locking means arranged in the pivot path of the first locking means and mounted in the housing, wherein the two locking means interact in an end position of the clamping arm. The first locking means, in the region of the end remote from the pivot axis of the first locking means, on the side facing the second locking means, has a recess defined at the side by two projections, wherein the second locking means contacts the projections when the clamping arm pivots into the end position thereof and is inserted into the recess in the end position, wherein the first locking means has a first portion which receives the first projection, and a second portion which receives the second projection, wherein the two portions, with the second locking means acting upon the two projections, are movable toward one another against a spring force with the spacing between the projections increasing.

Abstract
A pneumatically operable work tool for use in body construction in the motor vehicle industry includes a cylinder which has a cylinder housing, a piston moveable therein and a piston rod, which is connected to said piston, moveable linearly and guided out of the cylinder housing, and with a head housing connected to the cylinder housing, wherein a region of the piston rod protruding into the head housing cooperates with at least one toggle lever to pivot an arm assigned to the toggle lever, in particular a gripper arm or clamping arm, wherein this arm is mounted in the head housing and is pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. In the region of its end protruding into the head housing, the piston rod receives a bearing element for the toggle lever, wherein the bearing element is guided in a guide of the head housing in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod, and the bearing element, at a radial distance from the longitudinal axis of the piston rod, has a receiver for pivotable mounting of a hinge connector, which in the region of an end facing away from the bearing element is connected pivotably to the arm at a distance from a pivot axis of the arm, wherein the end pivot axes of the hinge connector and the pivot axis of the arm are arranged parallel to each other.

Abstract

The bearing element (15) is guided in a guide (27) of the head housing open (5) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (13) of the piston rod (7), and the bearing element (15) has a receiving area (28) for pivotally supporting a hinge connector (29) at a radial distance to the longitudinal axis (13) of the piston rod (7), said hinge connector being connected to the arm (2) at a distance to a pivot axis (9) of the arm (2) in the region of a face facing away from the bearing element (15), wherein the end-face pivot axes (30/31) of the hinge connector (29) and the pivot axis (9) of the arm (29) are parallel to one another.
