Abstract

A process of manufacturing component with a composite film including a matrix made of thermoplastic polymer and particles inside this matrix. This process includes heating the composite film in order for its temperature to exceed the glass transition temperature of its matrix, then when the composite film is softened, flattening an external face of the composite film by a smooth face resting directly over the whole of this external face, this smooth face forming part of the front face of a flexible membrane, the whole of the rear face of which, located on the side opposite the front face, is pushed against the composite film by a fluid, then cooling the composite film below the glass transition temperature, then withdrawing the membrane in order to mechanically separate its front face from the external face of the composite film.

Abstract

A method for the automated manufacture of an electronic circuit tolerant to faults by temporal redundancy of maximum order N, comprising a step implemented by computer, which involves replacing any memory cell of the circuit with a memory block (40) comprising a chain of memory cells in series, and a selection block which selects, in a temporal redundancy mode of order n1, n1 ∈ [1,N], as output data of the memory block, the majority content of n1 cells of the block, and can further deliver a fault signal if the content of the n1 cells differs. Said method is characterised in that the inserted memory blocks allow dynamic switching from a temporal redundancy mode of order n1 to any other mode of order n2. Said method for N=2, in association with a recording mechanism with backward recovery, makes it possible to mask an error with only double redundancy instead of triple redundancy.

Abstract

A method for processing cardiac signals includes accepting, from a sensor system, a set of one or more signals, the signals including components of a desired cardiac signal and components of a substantially periodic interfering signal. The method is applicable for extraction of desired fetal cardiac signals from signals with interference from the maternal cardiac signal. A periodicity of the interfering signal is determined, and one or more iterations of mitigating an effect of a component of the signals that exhibit periodicity at the determined periodicity of the interfering signal are performed. In some examples, the method further includes determining a periodicity of the desired cardiac signal, and performing one or more iterations of enhancing an effect of a component of the signals that exhibit periodicity at the determined periodicity of the desired cardiac signal.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a needle holder device (40) for treating the prostate, involving a series of steps of inserting a needle into the prostate, comprising a rectal probe (2) for ultrasonic 3D imaging and a computer for processing the image acquired by said probe and for computing the position of the needle (3) relative to the prostate. The computer is controlled so as to periodically output information on the movement of the prostate after each of the insertion steps in order to validate the insertion parameters relative to a treatment schedule and, if need be, modifying the insertion parameters relative to said schedule in the event the movement is greater than a threshold value.

Abstract

The invention relates to the use of one element chosen among a nucleic acid molecule, a fragment of said nucleic acid molecule and a variant of the said nucleic acid molecule for the in vitro or ex vivo diagnosis of any type of somatic or ovarian cancers, wherein at least one of any of the above described elements is abnormally expressed in cancer cells of at least one type of the somatic or ovarian cancers, and wherein each type of somatic or ovarian cancer cells abnormally expresses at least one of the above described elements.

Abstract

The invention relates to a capacitive detector and device for measuring the detector integral, including: a ribbon in a dielectric material (2), first and second electrodes (4, 5) shaped like combs and formed on a first surface of said ribbon, and a third electrode formed on the other surface of said ribbon and facing said first and second electrodes; the thickness (e) of the dielectric ribbon (2) is less than or equal to said predetermined period (λ) divided by four times pi, or λ/4π≥e; and the relationship resulting from division, in the numerator, of the capacity (C) between two adjacent branches (9, 11) of said first and second electrodes in the presence of at least one fluid having dielectric permittivity (εf) and, in the denominator, by the dielectric permittivity (εf) of the fluid multiplied by the capacity (Co) between the two adjacent branches of the first and second electrodes in the presence of the void is greater than or equal to one, or C/εf.Co≥ l. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a detector respecting the above conditions.
