Abstract

The present invention relates to a dosing system (3) for a shear-thinning or thixotropic, liquid to viscous dosing substance. Said dosing system comprises a nozzle (1) having a closure channel (55), within which a closure element (21) is moved in an ejection (E) and/or retracting direction (R) and is controlled during operation by an automatic control unit (63). The closure channel (55) is configured in at least one cross section perpendicular to the ejection (E) and/or retracting direction (R) in relation to the cross section of the closure element (21) in the same cutting plane such that a passage gap (57) is formed between the outer surface (S1) of the closure element (21) and the inner surface (S2) of the closure channel (55), said closure gap being formed and/or dimensioned such that it forms at least in some regions a passage channel for the dosing substance. Furthermore, the control unit (63) is designed such that, during operation, it generates control signals (SS1, SS2) for different movements of the closing element (21) in at least two movement modes (M1, M2, M4, M5, M6), wherein it moves in at least one of the movement modes (Μ1, M2, M4, M5, M6) the closure element (21) in such a way that the viscosity of the dosing substance is reduced in at least one region of the passage gap (57). The invention also relates to a method for producing such a dosing system (3) and to a dosing method that can be carried out using said dosing system (3).

Abstract

The present invention relates to a dosing system (3) with a nozzle (1) having an outlet opening (19), in the region of which a closure element (21) is movably arranged, which, during operation, is moved in an ejection (E) and/or retracting direction (R), wherein the closure element (21) is thus coupled to at least two piezoelectric actuators (23a, 23b) which are connected in opposite direction such that a first piezoelectric actuator (23a), when it is expanded in operation, moves the closure element (21) in the retracting direction (R) and a second piezoelectric actuator (23b), when it is expanded in operation, moves the closure element (21) in the ejection direction (E). The invention also relates to a dosing method that can be carried out using such a dosing system (3) and to a method for producing such a dosing system (3).

Abstract

The invention relates to a dosing system (1', 1'') for a liquid to viscous dosing material comprising an actuator system (2), which comprises at least one actuating element (29, 57), and a nozzle (13) having an outlet opening (19). According to the invention, the actuating element (29, 57) is first moved in a first partial movement upon a movement in a closure direction (V) so that it is separated from the closure element (15) at a proper stop location (31) and then meets the closure element on the stop location (31) and exerts an impulse (I) on the closure element (15). The invention also relates to a correspondingly designed dosing method.
